Reckless By Skye Jordan

A couture wedding dress designer to the rich and famous, Lexi LaCroix's image means everything. Raised on the wrong side of the tracks, her years of polish and hard work are finally about to pay off. But crossing paths with a sexier-than-sin, bad-boy biker who makes her realize how much living she's sacrificed for her success, one touch is all it takes to threaten her carefully choreographed life.

Jax Chamberlin has been screwed over by gorgeous gold-diggers one too many times. Though he runs his own stunt company, all of America knows his Hollywood face even years after he's given up acting. Finding a woman who doesn't plan to use him as a stepping stone to success is virtually impossible, so when the charming and mysterious Lexi offers him a chance at a totally anonymous hook-up during an out of town trip, Jax accepts. Only Lexi is more sextacular than charming, and Jax wants more. Lots more.

But Lexi's got a major hang-up over his renegade lifestyle. And if she finds out his connections could catapult her to the top of her career, he's afraid the fantasy woman he's falling for might just end up like all the rest. Read on for my review..........

What an elegant story. Simple and beautiful but still had me devour it in a few days of starting it.
Lexi is a stunning x-model, now a wedding dress maker and designer. Jax is a x-film star and now a stunt double for high tale films.
What both have in common are insecurities of being screwed over by another opposite sex.

What makes this book different from all the other romance novels is the way they meet. Highly unlikely this would ever happen but has anyone ever say somewhere watching people move with their lives or sat waiting for a train, bus, taxi etc and they've caught your eye. Well this is kind of similar. Lexi best friend is a app designer and her new app involved getting numbers from people around her. It was a great way to start a conversation without having people watching or being worried all he would want is her body.
It was a unique first impression and even i loved there banter and chemistry and they hadn't even met.
When they then later meet at the same hotel they are staying at and both agree for it to be a blind date as such. The room heated hotter then a steam room full of body building men. Seriously the sex scenes in this novel are extremely explicit and totally hot. Steamy is another word i would use but it just doesn't do it justice.

I like the hidden message the book sends out to the readers. Looks doesn't make a woman beautiful. What is on the inside truly does count. Loved it.

4*
