Very Bad things By Ilsa Madden-Mills

Born into a life of privilege and secrets, Nora Blakely has everything any nineteen-year-old girl could desire. She's an accomplished pianist, a Texas beauty queen, and on her way to Princeton after high school. She's perfect. Or is she?

Leaving behind her million-dollar mansion and Jimmy Choos, she changes the course of her life, becoming a girl hell-bent on pushing the limits with alcohol, drugs, and meaningless sex.

Then through a chance encounter, she meets her soulmate. But he doesn't want her.

When it comes to girls, twenty-five-year-old Leo Tate has one rule: never fall in love. His gym and his brother are all he cares about...until he meets Nora. He resists the pull of their attraction, hung up on their six year age difference.

As they struggle to stay away from each other, secrets will be revealed, tempers will flare, and hearts will be broken.
Read on for my review.....

This book is so dark and so very intense. You know from the first few chapters that Nora is anything but the girl everyone has painted her to be. When she spits out the F-Bomb at her school, even though i never new how dark her secrets where - i couldn't help but laugh and say go girl.

Firstly want to get this out about her mother. I HATE HER !! with a passion. If your child comes to you and tells you something like Nora told hers you believe her without second guessing. Not make her feel worthless and make out its all her fault. God feels good to rant about her. Wish i could run her mother over. Not that i drive of course but then at least id have an excuse.

When Nora meets Leo, its only through this intense connection through sight. It was so captivating, fierce and strong that even i got goose bumps along my skin.
One night Nora makes a to-do list as such which includes drugs, random sex, drink etc and the first one she does to a T. Then ends up trying to graffiti a car only to get caught by the mind blowing Leo. I loved him. I really did but there love affair wasn't straight forward and easy.
Nora ends up been sick and staying at Leos over night. Which leads him comforting her through a screaming nightmare.
With Leo been six years older and also having demons of his own it was noce to see how there relationship played out.

When it comes down to it he was there the moment she needed him the most. When all the secrets comes out i seriously felt sick to my stomach. The connection you feel towards the book and to Nora's demons is heart breaking. She went through so much and is no wonder she become the wild girl she tried to become.

Fantastic read and so intense. Also loved the humor in the novel but my favorite character had to be Sebastian, Leos younger brother. Loved him he was so funny and his banter was crazy.
Great read.
