Who he is By S.Q.Wiliams

Eliza Smith has never been the one to seek a relationship. She’s never dated a guy in her life, never even hugged a man (outside of her father/manager of the hot and popular rock band, FireNine) but when she decides to spend her summer on tour with FireNine, it all changes. Eliza really gets to meet Gage Grendel - her former crush from high school and the lead singer of FireNine - and witness sides to him to which she’ll begin to truly despise.
She’ll ignore him, she’ll dislike his ways, she’ll do anything to try and stay away from him until Gage finally gets her to slip up and give in. She agrees on a casual fling with Gage, but soon they’ll both see how the fling will blur into something they can’t control and when it’s finally time for Eliza to go and accomplish her own dreams, she’ll know there’s more she took from Gage than she ever thought possible.
Read on for my review ...

Eliza has a traumatic past. Due to her mothers and step fathers neglect and abuse she was forced to fight (Literally) to fight for survival. It has messed Eliza up in many ways emotionally and physically.
She moves in with her father after telling him of her abuse.
She decides to spend her summer with her father who is also manager of a popular rock band. So when she goes on tour she finds herself crushing harder on her high school crush Gage Grendel, Lead singer of FireNine.

Gage isn't the normal rocker, He also like Eliza has his secrets and his faults but the chemistry between the two is electrifying. He is a arrogant, whore, sexy as sin yet he has a vulnerable side, which Eliza gets to see. When the FireNine bus breaks down and they are all forced to bunk with each other on one bus they grow close like a family.
Eliza has trouble connecting with some of the bad members but as the book goes on she earns respect from the one member she has had trouble bonding with or even understanding. Only both have one thing in common.

I seriously loved the novel and the characters. It is one of my favorite rock band books of all time.
Gage though does make me angry at times throughout the book but the more i read the more i never understand why. I hate the ending it seriously broke my heart. I thought he is sat there on his knees sobbing his heart out yet he only had to do one thing when it come to Eliza and he chose himself. (In a way) I thought he made a simple choice a difficult one.

Whereas Eliza, even though she also make some Situations difficult i understand where she is coming from. I understand why she has so many guards up and why she is so angry at what had happened.
