Sweet revenge By Rebecca Zanetti

The One Man She Can't Have
Matt Dean was born to fight . . . and kill. A member of a secret black-ops military unit, he and his brothers were genetically engineered by the government to be the perfect soldiers with an expiration date. Now, with time running out, he's gone rogue in a relentless quest for the one person who can save them. His mission leads him to Charmed, Idaho . . . and to a beautiful woman with eyes like emeralds and a body made for pleasure.

The One Woman He Can't Resist

Laney Jacobs knows the mysterious, handsome stranger is trouble from the moment he walks into her bar, looking for a job. She's spent years running from her own past-the last thing she needs is a romantic entanglement. But Matt's strong arms offer her protection and his gentle touch promises passion unlike anything she's ever known. As lethal forces surround them, revealing explosive secrets about Matt's past and putting everything-and everyone-he holds dear in danger, can he save them all before time runs out?

Review:
Sweet revenge is the next installment of the Sin brother series.
Quick reminder, in forgotten sins we got Shane and Josie story and the Dean brothers background.

This novel continues with the brothers trying to find away to save themselves and bring down the commando before their time runs out. I loved the story from the first novel, but having learnt more in this novel I can tell you I'm absolutely intrigued more then ever to see how this is all going to end.

I love Matt, as the oldest brother he has had a lot more put on his shoulders then the rest and also carries around the guilt of the maybe death of their youngest brother Rory. How Rebecca writes about her characters is what makes me love Matt more. He is what every girl wants in a man. Loyal to the bone, strong, protective and yet still have that vulnerability about him that makes him more appealing.

Laney is a bar owner who is hiding something from her past. She also has a serial killer after her who preys on successful women in small towns.
I also liked Laney straight of the bat to. She and Matt share this incredible chemistry. It started off as temporary, but as secrets reveal, and lives are put in danger the two become inseparable.

The story ends on a 'oh whats going to happen' note. I am excited to read the next in the series which is Nate's story. Nate pops up the most in the novel with the most interesting background. Cannot wait to find out how the story will end but more so, I don't want this to be the end of the Dean brothers.

Look out for my review on the third installment Blind faith :)
