Fighting With Honor (Men Of Honor Novella) By KC Lynn

Once a man pledges his honor to his country, that sacrifice is embedded in his soul forever. For years he’s trained to fight, kill, and do whatever necessary to protect his country and its freedom, even if it means giving his own life.

He becomes more of a machine than human—one that’s built to destroy the enemy.

When it’s time to turn in his weapons, he never forgets the skills he learned. Never forgets the smell of death or feel of a rifle in his hands. The same hands that one day cradle his baby girl and caress the skin of his beautiful wife.

If anything or anyone ever tried to steal away the family he has vowed to love and protect, may God have mercy on their soul.

Fighting with Honor is a short Novella, but my lord, it's a powerful one. And I mean, seriously powerful.

I'm not even going to do my usual review by breaking down the book in parts of why I loved it, because it wouldn't even do her words justice. Instead, it needs to be read.

You will get all the feels with this book and if, like me, at the end, you'll want to ask KC Lynn why it wasn't a full novel. Because it really was that good. As much as I wanted what was happening to end, I just wanted to keep reading, to feel the intensity of her words and the emotion behind them.

An Act Of Courage (Acts of Honor Book Four) By KC Lynn

She’s the light from his past.

He’s the one her heart has always longed for.

Trained by the best, Christopher Walker has fought hard for his country and even harder to forget the only girl he’s ever loved. He spent countless nights submerged in death and destruction only to find himself clinging to the memories of her when the darkness crept in.

When her life is threatened, Christopher will stop at nothing to protect her. Even if it means having to confront his past.

Alissa Malone never thought she would find herself face-to-face again with the only boy she’s ever loved. But she soon realizes Christopher is not the same man he once was.

His touch is still electrifying—his voice still earth shattering. But there’s a darkness about him that wasn’t there before. A pain he harbors so deep that she can feel it all the way to her soul.

One fateful moment destroyed his very existence, and only one person will be able to make him realize that what he considers an act of dishonor was truly an act of courage.

Holy sugar....

KC Lynn seriously knows how to blow you away.

Christopher and Alyssa have always been two of my favourite characters. I'd been routing for them from the beginning and I was so happy when we were told they were getting a story.

KC blows your mind right from the beginning, and your HOOKED. Like, seriously hooked. There's no looking away, no stopping and definitely no taking any breaks. It will have you that hooked.

I don't want to give too much away of the story. It's one of those ones where you need to go in blind, no reading the blurb, no reading other reviews. It's one you have to take in yourself. But know, it's sooooooo good.
I would recommend reading the other books in the series even though this can be read as a standalone novel.

I've never known an author with such a beautiful soul, but KC Lynn not only proves it as a person, but through her books too. How she sees the world, the fallen, the damaged, it's beautiful.
But there's one part in the book (And you'll know which part once you've read it) that will have you completely choked up. I couldn't even breathe, my throat hurt, my eyes stung and by the end of it, I broke. Literally. I couldn't stop crying.
It was such a painful but beautiful moment in the book, but it will forever stay with me. It shows even the strongest can be weak.

I'm giving this book a 5*, even though I'd love to give it a lot more. It deserves it and I'm so proud to say it's reached BEST SELLERS already. That's epic and well deserved.

Sweet Haven (The Sweet Series Book Two) By KC Lynn

RECIPE:

Two cups of an arrogant, dirty talkin’ firefighter who has an obsession with peaches and the forbidden girl who smells like them.

One tablespoon of a sweet schoolteacher trying to find her place in the world while attempting to resist her brother’s sworn enemy.

A slice of fate that has their hearts questioning the past and the consuming need they have for one another.

A dash of desire.

A pinch of rivalry.

A sprinkle of déjà vu.

Mix together in a large bowl to create a combustible passion and a future that neither of them could have ever predicted.

Bake at 350° for a rich serving of destiny and a love that could burn for eternity.

A timeless recipe that is sure to fill your heart with a generous helping of Sweet Haven.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Let me start by saying, every time I read a book by KC, I always grow attached to the characters. This book was no different but this time it was more because I felt connected to Sam- having gone through the same as her.
I always find her writing meaningful, full of laughter, pain, heartache and love. It's a book filled with a mixture of emotions, emotions that will have you feeling throughout the book and leaving you with something that will stay with you forever. It's rare to find a writer who can do this. A story is a story, it gives you an escape, a place to exist where real life is no concern, but when you take in the words of a book like this, and all of her other books, it means something. It touches you in a way that you'll never forget.
I really can't give KC Lynn enough praise, I really can't. I see big for this author. She's a lovely woman and every time I read a book of hers, I swear, you see pieces of her inside them. Its her. The love and devotion she puts into each word... It's inspiring.

Anyway... You want to hear how great the book is and it's freaking spectacular. Sammy is Sawyer, a character from her men of honor series, sister. She's such a lovable, enticing character with a big heart. I think it's why she reminded me a lot of KC to be honest. From her posts I follow on FB, she's family oriented, devoted to her husband and has strong, heartwarming beliefs. Which is exactly how Sammy, the main female heroin is in Sweet Haven.

Jase, a sexy fire fighter/ Sawyer's enemy since school is hot as hell. Everything from his dirty talk to his macho ways. He's hot. I'm rooting for the men at his fire department get a series of their own. I swear, KC has a way of making you want to know each and everyone of her characters. They're all so lovable.

Anyway, the two don't have a best start because her brother and Jase are enemies. Have been for a while. But without her family, Sammy is alone, she's missing them and is hiding a huge secret from them too.
Abused by her ex and cheated on, she wants to move forward and has decided to move to where her brother and now her mom and dad live. She has three months left until she moves, but then Jase comes in and gives her everything she's been dreaming of and wanting.
He helps her out when her ex hits her, stepping in and taking care of her. And although I would have liked to have seen more of a situation with the ex and Sammy, and Jase saving the day, I still enjoyed the book. I couldn't put it down.

The two have a lot to overcome. Not only because her family won't accept him, but because she's moving. And to find out, make sure you grab a copy. It's a story you will want to read again, which I'm sure I'll be getting down to again. This series and her men of honor series are books I can devour over and over.

We also get to see Sawyer, Grace's and their kids, who may I add, are freaking adorable. There's something said between dad and daughter and it melts my heart. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

An Act of Obsession (Act of Honor) By KC Lynn

She’s beautiful yet scarred beyond repair.

He’s powerful and lethal, in and out of the ring.

One act of kindness brought Sophie Parish far more danger than she could have ever imagined. Now she’s on the run, leaving behind her family and the only dream she’s ever had.

Retired EFC fighter Kolan Slade’s life has been one endless battle after another. He has a dark past with an even darker desire—the only one he’s ever known.

Until he meets Sophie.

Intrigued by her raw beauty and the secrets she’s trying to hide, Kolan craves to know who she is and what she’s running from.

Protecting her becomes his obsession and he’ll sacrifice it all to save her. But in the end her love will have him questioning himself and everything he thought he knew.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Firstly, I want to mention that this review was written before but has somehow disappeared. So it's been posted again.

I'm a huge fan of KC Lynn and each time she published a book I always say it's better than the last. The woman only knows how to improve. There's no going back with her and she proves that in this enticing, drama filled book full of action, lust and hot hot hot encounters with Kolan.

We've heard Kolan's story from his sisters book and we know little bits of his past to guess the rest. But what Sophie went through seriously broke my heart. I don't know how she managed to stay so strong. Because she was. She was strong and although her life was in danger, she thought of others before herself. She left her safety net, her family, her dreams to make sure everyone she loved was safe.
Meeting each other was good for both of them. Kolan needed Sophie in his life, even if he didn't know it at the time. Same with Sophie. We see their connection pretty early on but it's not rushed or overplayed, it was perfectly timed.

I can't wait for more from this series. We meet another new young character who I'm hoping we get a book for. He was lovely.

Sweet Love (The Sweet Series #1) By KC Lynn

Two cups of a protective, dirty talkin’ alpha who loves his Cupcake.

One tablespoon of a sweet southern baker who loves her Sexy Sawyer, even when he’s being a hothead.

A slice of the past that shows up on their doorstep, turning their world upside down with a life-altering plea.

A dash of passion.

A pinch of heartache.

A sprinkle of hope.

Mix together in a large bowl, creating a difficult choice, a testing of one’s faith, and a man who will do anything to protect his family—even if it means accepting a decision that could result in losing the one he loves most.

Bake at 350° for a rich serving of life with a love that could withstand anything. Even the unthinkable.

A timeless recipe that is sure to fill your heart with a generous helping of sweet love.

Want to start off with I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Also, all of KC Lynn's books have rated 5* for me. Not one has rated lower. But this one, this one I honest to god wish I could rate more. It feels more. It was MORE. I'm not just saying this, I mean it.

Gracie and Sawyer's relationship had a rocky start in Sweet Temptation. With his whorish ways, and boyish charm, Gracie didn't know whether she could trust him. That trust was built and my God is it strong. I've never know a love like they'res but it make me pray I find on just as strong. They are just too perfect for each other.
But KC really did out do herself writing Sweet Love. Not only because we got to see more of our favourite characters, or because we get to see little mini Sawyer and Gracie, but because of the story line, and her writing and how much it affects our hearts reading it.
If anyone's books will inspire you, will make you believe, it's KC's. She has this way about her that had drawn me to her books from the very beginning. Her belief in God, in love, in honor, and in the world is truly inspiring, so much so it makes my heart melt.

Sawyer and Grace are hit with such a hard predicament. I honestly felt like I was in Grace's shoes and struggled with the decisions. I cried so much and not because there was a tragic scene or because of a death or what not, but because of her words, how much she brings the story to life and gets you so twisted up in the story that it sets you off. I honestly sobbed for the pain they had to go through, their fears. It was tragically beautiful should I say?

Anyway, I don't want to say anymore about the story line because this book is one you should really go in without spoilers. If you know what to look out for it won't hit you as hard as it did me.

So sit back, enjoy the book and curse KC afterwards for making your heartbleed through another beautiful story.

5* Although, if I could, this book would be given more and win an award. I never thought anything could beat my love for Cade and Faith's book, but this one blew me away.

Excerpt

He begins moving inside of me with slow, exquisite strokes, his eyes never leaving mine. He looks at me in a way I’ve longed to have someone look at me my whole life. Like I matter, like I’m important…like I am more. When it’s time for him to go back this is what I’ll remember. This is what I’ll keep close to me on the nights I ache for him, to remember that someone looked at me like this once. Even if I don’t get it for a lifetime, it’s better than not getting it at all.

Just like the man himself.

Reaching up, I cup his strong, stubbly jaw. He encircles my wrist and kisses the inside of it, right over my tattoo.

No words needed.

As more tears begin to fall he leans down and catches them with his lips. “Feel me, Kate. Feel nothing but me.”

“I do. You’re all I feel.”

“Just us,” he whispers.

“Just us.”

Unlawful Justice By KC Lynn & K Langston

Seek the truth and you will find justice.

The peaceful town of Harmony Falls, Texas, has been rocked to its core by an unspeakable crime.

One that harbors revenge and injustice.

Schoolteacher Olivia Bradshaw can’t remember what happened that horrific night, but it’s easy to see the effect it’s had on those around her. All she wants is for peace to be restored to her beloved hometown, but Deputy Grayson Taylor is on a different mission. He seeks truth and justice, and he’ll do whatever it takes to find both for Olivia.

Lines will be crossed.

Secrets revealed.

Can justice prevail, or will the citizens of Harmony Falls succumb to the corruption and hate that continues to plague their small town?

K.C. Lynn and K. Langston have teamed up to bring you a story about hate, race, corruption, injustice, and above all, love. A story that may change the way you view the world.

I'm finally able to upload this review. It's taken me a while to get the blog working again, and now it's up and running, I wanted this to be the first review I posted.

2015 was a year of great book, but this one will always stick out for me.

I received an ARC of Unlawful Justice in exchange for an honest review.

The teasers for this novel did not do the book justice. From the very first page I know this book was going to be powerful. And boy, was it powerful.

The is placed in a small town called Harmony Falls. The place has a lot of history. Some good, some dark and some really dark. It also has hidden secrets.
The story begins on such a high. I was literally at the edge of my seat, and it kept me that way all the way through.
Olivia, the town sweetheart is caught up in the middle. When she's used as retaliation, something seriously bad happens to her.
My heart had literally broken at this point and I honestly didn't know if I'd be able to put it back together. She's such a loving, good, kind, and generous character. She holds no judgment on anyone and is always looking at the good in people.
When she's attacked I thought she'd lose that. But if anything, it brought that strength out in her.
All she wanted was to get her town back to how it was. But with what happened to her, it started something, that would be hard to finish.

Grayson Taylor is called to Olivia's farm when there's a break in, there's instant connection. He's working on a case that involves farms being broken into, crops stolen and barns burnt down.

Grayson is the one to find Olivia and save her when she's hurt and my God. I felt like I was standing above watching the whole scene. It felt so real. Just thinking about it now has my heart beating faster.
Their relationship from there only grows. He's so sweet to her. Protective. But more, he's there for her in a way she needs him to be there.

Their romance continues into a beautiful, raw, and so powerful that you won't want it to end.

But more than that, this story is just so much more. It's based on the actions, an consequences of racism. The two authors have gone above and beyond to get this novel to where it is.
I want to write so much more. Talk about how powerful and emotional the story is. But I want everyone to feel what I felt when I read the story. To get enraptured in the story and the romance.

5*

I wish I could give it more, because it honestly does deserve it. I've found it hard to find a book that made me feel what this book did when I read it. It was amazing.

"Seek the truth and you will find justice."

KC Lynn's Series Reading Order....

Men of Honor series
An Act of Honor

An Act of redemption By KC Lynn

She saw in him what no one else could see.

He found in her what he could never find.

One moment changed everything but, even with a break in time, their connection could never be severed.

In the beginning he may have been her salvation, but in the end she will be his redemption.

***
This is Book One in the Acts Of Honor series, the spin-off series to Men Of Honor. It’s Anna and Logan’s story and is told in dual POV, has an HEA with no cliffhanger and it can be read as a standalone. However, I highly recommend that you read the Men Of Honor series prior, as characters play recurring roles in both series.

KC Lynn has only gone and done it again.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and although I read many ARC's, I always feel privileged when she gives me one of her novels.
To me they always hold a special meaning, and I don't just mean to the men that serve our country or to God, but a deeper meaning.

No one can write the truer meaning of Honor than KC. She writes it beautiful, heroically, and so meaningful.

Anna and Logan's story never began with hearts and flowers. She had a traumatic past where she was kidnapped from her school trip and sent to a sex ring. We meet her in the first men of honor series, and throughout the rest of the books. She's been through hell, but not only has she lived her own, but Logan has also lived through his own living hell in his life.
The two were made for each other.

The book had a Best of me By Nicolas Sparks feel towards the beginning. Logan is wrongly accused of a murder. It was more of self defense, which is why I found it hard to stomach why he took a plea when he could have fought, told them what happened.

The years go by and Anna is in college, getting her degree and living life the best she can, day by day. So when she steps into an underground fighting ring, the last person she expects to see is Logan.

KC has written another fantastic plot because it had me gripped from start to finish. I loved both characters and I was glad to see Anna for the girl she is and not the scared girl we met in the beginning of the series.
I also love her relationship with Sawyer, Cade, but mostly, Jaxon. Their relationship is just something else, and KC has a way of making it feel more than words on paper.

Logan, is not only suffering from his old wounds, but he's also beginning to fight new ones, one's that were caused by him been his families protector. When he's given a chance to get out of prison, he takes it, not knowing how much danger he's truly putting himself in.

The story continues on and is freaking brilliant, and just when I think it's all over something happens that blew me away. The whole scene caused goosebumbs to rise on my arms, shivers down my spine and my fingers to grip my kindle. It was so intense, so raw, and so frightening that I found it hard to look away.
There is one part in this scene that truly took my breath away and made me choke on my own tears, and that is when Anna feels something is happening, she knows something is happening to Logan, and she feels it. It was crushing and my God, I sobbed like a baby. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll shut up.

I cried, I laughed, I swooned, and I awed.

But what I truly loved about the book was the hidden message. The one for me was vets that are discharged from the service and sent home with no funding to help them recover through what they've been through.
During the book we meet a homeless man called Sarge. He found it hard coming out of the service and keeping up with his PTSD. He lost his wife, his job and ended up living on the streets with a homeless dog he took in. He finds himself always at the church where Anna works feeding the homeless. She helps him in a way I don't think anyone could ever repay. She truly is an angel, and she is an inspiring person. What she does for everyone around her is breathtaking.

One thing is for certain, KC's look on God is gifting. I love how she writes about HIM, brings him into all her books, it will make anyone who doesn't believe, believe. It's inspiring, just like all her other books and I know I say this every time I review one of her books, but she truly is an amazing writer. These books should become films.

The Final Temptation By K.C.Lynn

KAYLA~ He moved in next door to me, all bronzed skin and lean muscle, with a panty dropping smile that could make any girl weep with need. He set my body and teenage hormones on fire for three years. THREE LONG YEARS.

In that time he became a cop- Officer Sexy as I liked to call him- and every time I pushed, he retreated. But I knew he felt it, I saw it in the way he looked at me. So one night I set my plan in motion and upped my game. I finally reeled the sexy bastard in, and he didn’t know what hit him.

COOPER~ She tempted me with her smart mouth and tight body for three painful years. I took an oath to uphold the law and honor it, which she made almost impossible not to break. But when the day finally came, I made her pay, every beautiful inch of her. She might drive me crazy and be the biggest pain in the ass, but she’s my pain in the ass. And I’ll spend everyday for the rest of my life making sure she never forgets who she belongs to.

I was given an ARC of The final temptation and like the other M.O.H novels I am privileged to have been chosen to review this novel.
I'd also like to point out at this stage that although I am a reviewer and given an ARC, my review isn't based on how I get along with the author, or how much I loved her previous books. It's an honest review that came from my heart. I know some people have trouble taking ARC reviews honestly, so I just want to clarify that my review is honest. If I found something wrong with the work I'd point it out. But there isn't any.
KC Lynn has done such a tremendous with this novel.

When I first read that KC was going to be writing Cooper and Kayla's story, I honestly didn't think I would enjoy it. Because I'd already been introduced to the characters, seen them progress through each book in the M.O.H series, I didn't think I'd get that grip, that excitement of the unknown, but I did. Infact I got more.

The book starts off in the present. I'm not going to ruin it and tell you what, but Kayla is with the girls. Little Ruthie is asking questions and so Kayla tells her.
The story flips back and instead of being dragged through their whole ordeal, their backward and forward relationship, we are taken back to the time when they finally got it together.

The story was funny as hell, Kayla as an adult is lethal, but Kayla as a kid???? You don't want to mess with her LOL she is so freaking awesome.
Cooper is sexy as hell, and there's a scene where he pulls Kayla over and let me tell you, it's hot.

I'm not going to tell you anymore, but it's a must read. If your going to follow the rest of the character's stories in KC Lynn new series then you'll have to read this one to get to know what your in for. I'm so excited to read the next book. Really am.
KC characters always feel real to me. I feel like they've become a part of my life having read the books so many times. I'm sad to see them go and that this is the final novel in the series. Worry not though, remember, other characters will be getting their own novel.

5 freaking amazing * KC did the ending to the series perfectly and did it so much justice it will have you reading it over and over again.

Beautifully Insightful By K.C.Lynn

To buy link: coming soon

EMILY MICHAELS ~

Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong? Like you never fit in, or you weren’t good enough? This is how I have felt for as long as I can remember.

I see the world differently than everyone else, I feel everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different in my world is not a good thing.

I live in a place that’s divided between the rich and the poor, the beautiful and the unbeautiful, the prestigious and the mediocre. I have always belonged in the first category, because my father was the Governor of Georgia.

Growing up around people I could never relate with, my life had always been lonely, that was until my senior year when I met the one boy who would change my life forever. A boy who my parents would never approve of because he didn’t come from money or the same social class. He rode a motorcycle, had tattoos and was considered to be from the wrong side of the tracks. Yet he was still envied by many.

Ryder Jameson was someone who every guy feared, and one who every girl wanted to be touched by. He didn’t do attachments, or have friends… until me. And for the first time in my life I finally felt like I belonged. When I was with him, my different didn’t feel wrong or ugly. He made me feel beautiful- insightfully beautiful. Then one day my world came crashing down on me, and it would be six years before I'd once again see the boy I fell in love with.

RYDER JAMESON ~

After working my ass off I am given the opportunity of a lifetime, and if I pull it off I will be the youngest FBI agent to run one of the biggest undercover operations in history. Only the case that gets thrown in front of me leads me back to the one place I swore I would never return to, and to the only girl who’s ever mattered to me.

Except Emily Michaels is not the same girl I left behind. She still looks the same, she’s still beautiful inside and out, but there’s one thing that’s very different about her, one very big thing, and it’s something I didn’t think was possible.

Ryder and I come from a world where politics separates us and wealth defines us, but even after all this time we will not let it divide us.

Here is our story

WOW!!!!!

First, I want to say a massive thank you to K.C.Lynn for giving me an ARC of Beautifully insightful. I feel so damn privileged to have been able to read this before publication date.

Beautifully Insightful is just that: Beautifully insightful. The name is perfect for this novel.
Not only is the cover beautiful, or the blurb, but the whole book is incredibly beautiful. This has hit my all time favourite book list. I loved everything about it. K..C.Lynn has really out done herself writing this novel. I've loved all her books, I'm a huge fan, but this one, this one had me wanting to read it all over again as soon as it ended it was that good.
I stayed up until half one in the morning reading this novel, I couldn't put it down. From the very first chapter, hell the first paragraph it had me hooked when the first BOOM moment is mentioned. I honestly never saw it coming. I can't tell you what it is because everyone should feel that HOLY SHIT moment when they realize the book is more than just two people from the wrong side of the tracks, that Emily is more than just some privileged girl and Ryder is more than the bad boy.

There's things about Emily I can't mention on here, I don't want to ruin the book as it's a HUGE part of it. What I can say is she may come from a rich family, a massive home and surrounded by the other rich people, but she certainly isn't one of them. She see's beyond people's expectations, their bank account balance or where they come from. She sees people for who they really are.
The way K.C writes this brought out so many emotions out in me. Even though I don't judge people by their looks, where they are from or what have you, I still felt like I was seeing this differently after reading this book. She truly is an incredible writer.

Now Ryder, he's from a dysfunctional home where his parents hate and fight with each other, where he's been beaten from his dad, yet he's still determined to make something of himself. He doesn't care about how the rich look down on him or what they say about him because deep down he know's who he is and what he's worth. It's one of the many reasons I fell in love with him.
Emily had been told most her life to dress a certain way, that she wasn't pretty, she was a disappointment, but Ryder makes her realize beauty is within as well as on the outside. Emily believed the same thing but when it came to herself she only heard her mothers hateful words. So when Ryder says all this stuff to her it completely had me swooning.

Now, to the story plot as a whole. K.C.Lynn you are one hell of a writer because this book is beyond anything I have ever read. It had everything I love in a book. To the bad boy who is really good, the damsel in distress yet strong as hell and then there's the mystery to the book.... the mystery that has you staying up until half one in the morning so it isn't playing on your mind. Holy hell the plot was so good.
I had cried, laughed, cooed, cried, laughed and so much more during the book. I feel like there is so much more I could say, but I don't want to ruin the book for anyone, so I'll end with this....

Read it.....

I promise there is not a book like this one out there, it will captivate you from the very beginning and have you falling in love with the characters from the start.

5* but I really do wish we could rate higher. This book deserves more than a 5*

P.S

In the book sex trafficking etc is apart of the story line. If you've read K.C.Lynn then you know her previous MOH books touched down on the same subject. I know so many people are unaware that this really does happen. That it doesn't just happen in books, so please when finishing, take the time to read the dedication. Most people skip that part, but this one should be read.

ENJOY

Resisting Temptation By K.C.Lynn

Faith ~
Cade Walker is like no man I’ve ever met before. He’s cynical, brooding, mysterious and, most of all, damaged. He’s a man who declares he’s broken, and one who detests the two very things I live for most: God and love. Yet, I’ve still fallen completely in love with him because I also see the good, something that no one else ever has. I see a man who is strong, silent, honorable and beautiful. He’s a man who is now scarred just as badly on the outside of his body as he is on the inside, all because of me. One who endured severe torture in order to save me from what would be the worst thing I will ever experience in my entire life. He is a man I call my dark angel, one who will have my heart until the end of time, even if I can never have his.

Cade ~ At fifteen years old I lost the only person that ever mattered to me, and the day I lost my little sister in the most vile way was the exact moment I stopped living and only existed. That’s until ten years later, when I walked into an open field in Iraq to hear the most incredible voice I would ever hear in my life. One that rooted me to my spot, and ended up belonging to the most beautiful woman in the world. The only woman to ever make me feel something again, something that I thought was dead inside of me. And no matter how badly I wanted to keep her, I knew I couldn’t. Not with what I have lurking inside of me. It’s something I’ve always kept hidden. That is, until the day I unleashed it on the people who dared to hurt her. It was the one thing that gave me the strength to save us, but it was also the one thing that would remind me of why I could never have her.

Now two years later, the one girl I never thought I would ever see again, the one I have spent my days and nights craving like an addict, walks back into my life unexpectedly, giving us both the shock of our lives. And when the time comes that she needs me again, I no longer resist. Before I know it, I’m pulled into a life I thought I could never have, one that scares the shit out of me but it’s one I’m realizing I want. There is just one problem. One very big problem… She lives for the very thing I loathe, and the one thing that killed my sister… God.

Oh My God. I don't even know what to say to express how much I LOVED this book. It has to the best out of the three in the Men Of Honor series. Loved this novel so blooming much.

For those who have read the previous two novels will know how much a brooding mystery Cade Walker is. Also, how incredibly hot too. We get to see more from their pasts when they were captured a few years ago and why. We see him as the man he was to the man he becomes when he's around Faith.
I was so glad K.C.Lynn added in the captured scenes because like many of you, we were all dying to know about the famous girl Cade nearly died for.
I loved Faith, she is someone I would be friends with. I'm not a big believer in god, for the same kind of reason Cade doesn't believe, but I do strongly believe our souls live on when we die and we're reborn and that we all have someone out their we connect too. It's the same connection Faith and Cade have.
Faith meets a troubled teen doing community service in this one and oh my god, he brings his little sister into the mix and jesus christ, I love that child like she was my own. K.C.Lynn did an amazing job with writing her scenes, the trouble she must have gone to spelling and sounding out the words so that readers could still understand it, but it also could still be portrayed as a little girl with a speech impermanent. I loved her, loved everything about Routhie and her relationship with 'the big guy' was adorably cute, like seriously freeking adorable. I couldn't get enough and found myself excited for their next encounter.
The story is so heartfelt, so heartbreaking and found it moving in so many ways. The way she took two kids in, the way she recovered from her attacks in Arac and the way Cade moved forward with his life as each pressing moment in the book.
There are a few moving scenes within this book. I don't know if it's the seriousness of the topic or the fact K.C.Lynn is by far one of the best writers around that had me falling in love with this book like it was a real life story.

So many scenes, but I promise it will grip you, have you on the edge of your seat, crying, heartbreaking, laughing, awww'ing and just completely falling in love with everyone in the book.

I am reading the first two over again before reading this one because I got confused on who Kaityn was. So, I'll be refreshing my mind all over again ;)
Cannot wait to get to read more of her work in the future.

5* and I wish I had a chance to give it more because it truly does deserve it. Also, this novel just bumped Archers Voice off my top ten 2014 best read romance novels LOL Yep, it was that good
