Crash Ride (Power Station #2) By T Gephart

Megan Winters had lusted over Troy Harris, drummer for international rock band Power Station, for years. Not being the type of girl who was invited backstage, her fantasies had stayed just that, fantasies. When her best friend unexpectedly starts dating one of the other band members it puts her on a crash course at war with her libido. Her solution— they need to have sex. Surely once she had scratched that itch, and saw the fantasy didn’t live up to the reality she could move on. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

Troy Harris vowed to stay away from Megs. The sexy, smart and funny blonde left his mind and his body feeling like a pretzel. No matter how attracted he was to her, she was a no-go zone. The best friend of his best friend’s girlfriend? Cue the reality show. But when she gives him the chance to have a one-night no strings good time, there was no way he could turn that down. Maybe she was right. One night, and then they could go back to being just friends.

Both of them were delusional.

I really am enjoying this series. I didn't think a book could get any funnier than the first book in this series, High Strung, but then I read this one and I fell in love.
It was so good.
I'm not really into the whole rock star romance thing, but I've fell in love with all the band members.

I'm sorry but I have to get this out LOL TROY HARRIS
Megs does nothing but call Troy, Troy Harris and it has me in stitches every. single. time.
I never pictured her character to be the way it was. I think with her high paid job, the seriousness of it and how well known her family is, I pictured her to be this stuck up, but easy going woman. But I'm so judgmental because she is so easy going, funny, beautiful and has the best sense of humor. Also, she can use any situation to flirt. The text messages between the two are off the charts hilarious.

Then we have Troy....
He's so lovely, sweet, hot and caring that I didn't want the book to end. I wanted to keep on reading it.

The book is funny, sexy, and completely hot, but that's not all it brings. Towards the end I had been that heartbroken I didn't know what to do. It was so incredibly sad.

But all that aside, it had a really good ending and I can't wait to read more from T.Gephart or meet her when she goes to York Tattooed bad boy signing this April.

High Strung (Power station Book One) By T.Gephart

Ashlyn Murphy was not living the dream. Twenty-seven years old, college educated, up to her eyeballs in debt and yet she’d been relegated to pouring beers at a local bar. She desperately needed an out and was willing to do anything to get back into the corporate world. Well, almost anything. Dan Evans, Rock Star was NOT one of those things. In fact she despised him. Apparently he didn’t get the memo.

Dan Evans, bass player of international rock band Power Station had it all. He was rich, travelled the world, played to millions of adoring fans and had no shortage of beautiful women willing to share his bed. He didn’t need a moody redheaded knockout with a superiority complex complicating his life. Or did he?

When two people who couldn’t be more opposite cross paths, it’s bound to be explosive; sometimes all you can do is sit back and enjoy the show.

High string had me in stitches from the beginning to the end. It kind of reminded me of Play.
Dan Evans is one of the funniest characters I've read about in a long time. He was so serious when he spoke complete and utter bollocks that you couldn't do anything but laugh. I swear, I cried laughing so much during the book.

I fell in love with Dan from the beginning. His easy going sense of humor, charming good looks and his ability to speak what is on his mind is what attracted me to him. He is honestly so loveable.
This is the first novel I've read from this author and I'll be definitely reading the next one. But.... I'm a little confused (and will research this) as to Lexi and Ashes story. Did they have one and I missed it? Because their story has me intrigued and I want to know how they get together. But this says BOOK ONE.

The two are completely opposites, and that's putting it nicely. But together they are perfect for each other.

The only problem I had with the story was towards the end. She leaves him for something so ridiculous. To me it was anyway. Who cares how they met as long as he didn't cheat or pursue you at the same time? Or that he went out to support you knowing you were to good to work in a bar? I honestly went a little off Ashlyn on this part wanting to scream spoiled brat. But then it's fiction and reading it from her perspective I can understand why. Kind of. Grrr.

Winter (Four seasons Book One) By Frankie Rose

N.B. This book was previously released under the pen name Nikita Rae. There have been significant changes to the storyline and voices of the characters. The book has also been re-edited. Please make sure the original book is not already in your kindle library before purchasing!

A girl with a dark history…

Avery Bresllin took a leap of faith when she changed her name. As Avery Patterson, she is no longer the daughter of a serial killer. No longer the girl who was bullied and abused through high school. A fresh name and a fresh start at Columbia University means Avery can leave all that behind. There’s only one thing marring her dream of a clean slate….

A boy with a past of his own…

Luke Reid has a lot going for him: sex appeal, badass tattoos and insane musical talent. Despite his guitar skills, his calling in life has always been to serve and protect. A NYPD cop by day, singer in rock band D.M.F by night, from the outside Luke seems like he’s got it made. But falling for a girl whose father was accused of deeply sinister acts—a man whom Luke shared a devastating history with, himself—only serves to complicated things.

Pieces of a puzzle…. Four symbols, four methods of destruction. A trade. Borrowed wings. Dark secrets that threaten to destroy.

What a book.......

I'm going to start off with Luke, seriously LOVED him. Not only is he a cop, but he's in a freaking rock band. Not only does he play guitar, but the hunk sings. SINGS!!!

He's insanely hot. He could have any girl he wanted, sleep with whoever, but the only one as far as I can tell is his ex girlfriend, who I dislike. When he sleeps with Avery it means something to him. It made me want him a whole lot more. Luke is every girl's dream bloke, I'm telling you.

Avery is a lovely character, a bit hard at times to understand. Like the way she know's her friend is bringing shit up to bring her down but never calls her out on it, but then when she's with Luke, she does the same thing to him. She constantly bitched at him. But I understood why. She wasn't nasty to him. She was defensive always having her guard up, it was nice to see when Luke would turn it down.

I knew how the story line was going to go, all through the book I kept guessing on who it could have been etc. But wham bam, the author completely surprised me. The only thing that bothered me was the ending.... it didn't explain WHY people got killed.

Then there's the whole Noah situation. Nothing came of it and as there isn't any information given on BOOK two then I'm a little annoyed that it didn't get resolved.

ALL IN ALL .... I really loved the book and found it hard to put down once I picked it up.

Play #2 stage dive series By Kylie Scott

Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast - at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. But he didn't count on exactly how much fun he could have being with the one right girl.

Anne Rollins has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a demented drummer was never going to be a good idea. No matter how hot he is. She's had her sights set on her male bestie, Reece, for years. And now that she's supposedly taken, he's finally paying attention. If only the chemistry between her and her rock star would stop hitting new heights . .

Lick By Kylie Scott

Evelyn Thomas's plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong.

Now if she could just remember how it all happened. One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll's favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.
