Sleepless nights (Wrath MC #1) By Amanda Heath

I’ve been living two lives for the past seven years.

One with Victor and the other with Damien.

Victor I’ve known all my life. When his parents died he even came to live with my family and I. I was so in love with him. It wasn’t until years into our relationship I started to see the faults in him. Then he went off to Iraq.

Damien was the bad boy biker at our high school. Even while I was with Victor, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. Then I got on the back of his bike and I thought I finally found my home. Then Victor came back wounded.

That was all five years ago and now those two lives and my two loves are starting to converge. I don’t know who I am anymore and I don’t know who I want to be with. Though these two guys won’t let me be single for long.

But one of them has gotten me into a lot of trouble with the mob. And now it’s up to the other one to save me. And before you roll your eyes, that statement isn’t what you think. You’ll be surprised who the bad guy really is.

I promise to find my happily ever after, even if it’s at the Wrath MC clubhouse in the arms of an alpha biker or in the high society world where I was born and in the arms of my ex-army man.

After reading the Make or Break series from Amanda, I was intrigued about Ashley's story. She's always quiet, and shy in the previous books it was hard to imagine seeing her with an MC.

I loved her relationship with Damien from the get go. She was herself and let herself be free.
They began as friends when Victor left to follow his friend Iraq, but as soon as she was out from unders Victor's thumb she started to realize how much she was missing out on being with him.
Victor in the other books came across as noble, tortured man, but he is anything but. He was manipulative, controlling, selfish and just an ass. And poor Ashley believed him and his cunning ways every single time.

The story plot is brilliant. Victor gets on the wrong side of the mob along with his friend, but it's Ashley who has to save everyone and deal with the fall out. I was loved meeting all the new characters in the book and can't wait to read book two in the series.

Fire in her eyes (Young Love #2) By Amanda Heath

Spencer and I have been enemies for as long as I can remember. Though it wasn't hard to fall into lust with him. And things seemed to be headed to love before unspeakable things happened to me...

Spencer was supposed to be my rock. My angel. He turned out to be none of those things. What he did hurt more then the tragedy. I don't think I will ever be able to forgive him...

Not that he hasn't tried to win me back over. His new actions leave me wondering if love can really forgive anything?

My name is Harley Maxton and this is my story.

One thing I hate more than spiders, and that's giving bad, mixed reviews.

This book held so much promise, so much potential, yet the author or editor, or whoever ruined it for me.
The writing was not up to Amanda's usual standards, and found myself more than once re-reading it. I can pass spelling mistakes off, everyone does them, but she also contradicted herself throughout and also mixed up a lot of the story.
One minute a character was skinny, quiet, broody and private, the next he's a leader of a gang, doesn't shut up and is a badass. confused? Yeah, I was too.
Not only that but sometimes the story line didn't add up with what she previously mentioned. It confused me more times than I would like to admit.

That said, the story line was brilliant. Had it all been written the way her other books have, then this would have easily have been a 5* for me.

Harley hates her next door neighbor Spencer.
Next chapter.....
They confess there undying love and feelings for each other.

Get where it's going???

She's also violently attacked and my god, that scene was really hard to read. It broke my heart and I felt so sorry for her.

Then Spencer saves her, but it's too late, she's been raped. Yes, I will ruin that part because I wasn't warned there. I thought someone in the family was going to die, not that. Anyway.....

She's been raped, badly beaten and what does the love of her life do???????
You'll have to read LOL

SPOILER ALERT!!! (move down to next red to read on without spoilers)

(After been released from the hospital it turns back to Spencers POV where he is back from going back to college, to see HIS EX GIRLFRIEND. First words out of his mouth???/
It's not what you think.....

I can live with that, he said he just wanted to be a normal guy, with no troubles and just wanted to forget about no being able to save Harley in time. Never mind it was actually fucking Harley that was raped, mind you. No, it's all about his feelings..... Yeah, I got annoyed with this book lol I think that's why I was addicted to it so much. It brought so much out of me.

Anywayyyyy, back to the story line....

Then after she finally starts to move forward after the rape, being counseled, SPENCERS EX turns up.

uh oh

OH and it WAS what we thought. That fucker slept with her knowing his GIRLFRIEND was back at home in a hospital, beaten, and raped. Don't see this being a happy ending. )))))

NO SPOILERS HERE ON OUT.

The story continues with Spencer trying to tell Harley he's sorry. Yes ladies, he's sorry. Jeeze.

Everyone and I mean everyone in this book was so unsympathetic towards her, even her own father. There's a scene when she's out of hospital and she sleeps in Spencers bed to feel safe. She wakes up from a nightmare thinking it was real and accidentally kicks out at Spencer hurting him.
Her father only asks her what she was thinking and when she snaps at him he tells her to basically grow up that she has no reason to be scared when she's in the house and they have the person who attacked her.

ASSHOLE.

It was the same with a few of her friends who we don't see once she's attacked. So called friends....

The story doesn't end there, NO... it has more secrets, more twists, one not eve I saw coming and usually I've guessed the ending from the beginning. Amanda did well thinking this one up, so sneaky of her.

Even though my rants of the story line seem bad, that is just my emotions reading it. If it weren't for the errors throughout I would have loved it even more.

Save me (Make or break #3) By Amanda Heath

Courtney Pierce never thought he would love anyone but Annabella Gage. She was his entire world for eleven years. Even though she was dating his older brother, he couldn’t seem to let her go. Then things shifted and lines became blurred. Pierce wasn’t sure whose bed Annabella should be in anymore.

But Annabella has secrets. Dark secrets she will do anything to protect. So like the crazy witch that she is, she rips Pierce’s heart to shreds and devastates his soul. He’s left with the emotional wreckage and no way out in sight.

Then Rachel Sanders drop kicks into his life. The beautiful brunette is utterly hard to resist and one night of intense passion leads to an unexpected surprise. A surprise that has all their friends shocked, because Rachel and Pierce couldn’t be more different.

Now he’s left with one option and it doesn’t include Annabella. Rachel, though, is full of surprises and Pierce finds their relationship so incredibly easy. Way easier than what he had with Annabella. So easy he finds he didn’t even know what love was before Rachel.

But like any twisted love story, Pierce is hiding dark secrets, too. Secrets that he feels will rip he and Rachel apart. When push comes to shove will Pierce spill those secrets? And if he does, will they separate the new lovers before they even have a chance to begin?

Much like Pierce and Annabella, someone else has something to hide. Let’s hope Rachel sticks around because when this secret comes out. , she’ll be the only one who can save Pierce

This has to be the best book out of the series.
I've loved getting to know all the characters, but by far, Pierce and Rach have to have been the most entertaining and heartbreaking of them all. Half the time I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry.

After both being in bad relationships they find it easy being with each other. It isn't until insecurities happen that everything turns to shit.

Pierce starts calling another girls names while he sleeps, but in all fairness they are nightmares, and because Rachel doesn't think she's good enough and having been cheated on by her ex.... can you see where I'm going? She leaves him.

Both of them are miserable without each other. Getting to know them as friends, then as a couple, and then reading about them apart, I can tell you, no one should be together like these two should. They were perfect for each other. Even though both of them are totally opposite from what the other one's personality is.

I couldn't put the book down and read it within one sitting. Be prepared to have a lot of awweeeee moments because I sure as hell did LOL

Break me (Make or break #2) By Amanda Heath

Wesley Bridges was lost between the living and the dead. She was clinging to her boyfriend, who passed away unexpectedly. She was left with having no way to move on. Her best friends, Annabella and Pierce were too caught up in each other to save her. Even her family turned a blind eye, not able to bear her grief.

Then one day, Royal Sanders walked into her life. Tall, dark and sinfully handsome, but aren’t all the unattainable ones? At first it was nothing. She was asked to tutor him and found he’s different than even she thought. She even turned to Royal when things got too hard. And when she falls for him, she falls hard.

But Royal’s the enemy. A long drawn out hatred brews between her friends and Royal’s. That doesn’t seem important to her, considering she’s still in love with her dead boyfriend. A love triangle between life and death…who will win?

Grief is a powerful emotion but there are several different kinds of grief. Betrayal and heartache are still knocking on her door. Things are about to come crashing down around her. It will definitely break her, but will Royal be enough to save her?

How did I not know this was out???????????
I'm a huge book nerd and make it a weekly thing to make sure what new releases are out etc etc.
Now.....
I had started reading Make me again and I loved it.... just like I did the first time if not more. Then, when I finished this book came up as a recommendation. I didn't even know it was freaking released.

If you don't remember, in the first one Channing and Paisley had just found out someone is pregnant.... that there was the cliffhanger.

In this book we have the funny, good looking, easy going, and charmer Royal. I loved his character in the first one, so I have to admit I freaking adored him in this one. His character to me couldn't get any better. Not just the things he did for Wes.

Wes lost her boyfriend suddenly and hasn't managed to come to terms with his loss. Now, I know what your all thinking..... but no, it's not one of those depressing books where you want to go put on depressing music. It's actually funny, sexy and enjoyable. Yes, it has emotional parts, but she lost her boyfriend for christ sakes..... leave her alone.
Anyway.....
She not only lost her boyfriend but her bestfriend Annabella ... Ella....or what have you and her cousin Pierce had also abandoned her. When she needed them most they were to caught up in each other than to see how much she was breaking.
Take out why she was sad, depressed and lonely and just see the situation with Pierce and Ella, then you'll see that this happens with most school kids their age. I'm actually glad they put in that part because it showed Ella's true colours. Why Wes forgave her so easily is beyond me.

Royal, after having Wes teach him History, which happens to be her favourite subject... gets to know Wes and I mean the real Wes. She doesn't hide who she is or how she's really feeling when she's around him. I liked that about their relationship.

They have a bumpy road, but you'll have to read it because I promise it has a HEA.... and we all love those. Really LOVED this book.

Wrong kind of love By Amanda Heath

The first time I ever saw Caden Harper I’m pretty sure I fell in love. All that golden hair and pale blue eyes. He was mysterious and covered in paint. I found it endearing and wanted nothing more than to find out all his secrets. I gave that man things I would never give anyone else. He blew it though. Which I shouldn’t be surprised considering he is a womanizer.

So I moved on, well kind of. Jaden Harper wasn’t what I expected. I found myself drawn to him almost as much as his brother. Maybe it’s the fact they are twins or maybe it was the fact I wanted to live on the wrong side for once in my life.

Now I’ve found myself dug deep in this game. There's no end in sight and I wonder when all the lies I have told will come back to haunt me. Neither man should know the things I’ve gone through. Neither should trust me. I’m not who I say I am. My past is full of things I won’t ever share.

But where will that lead me when Caden wants nothing more than to consume me? He won’t wake up to see he has the wrong kind of love.

My Name is Grace Breadfield and this is my story.

Seriously disappointed in this novel. I really enjoyed the first one in this series, but then it came to this one and I felt like she re-wrote the whole personality of the characters.
For example, Jaden and Cadens Mom..... In the first novel she came across sweet, caring, gentle, soft, loving, and an all round great person. She was so kind to her kids and even had a grave put in for the baby. So, you can imagine my surprise when shes a wicked witch in this novel. In this book she come's across as selfish, self-centered, bitchy, back-stabbing and all about appearance. I don't know why the author did this. The story plot was obviously not well thought of. If this was a book on its own it would be different, but we meet all characters in the other. That's not all, the story is completely different with Grace as well. The changed worked out well, as they made the story, I just felt at times the story didn't add up, especially when it cross referenced with the first novel.

The we have the three way relationship. I REALLY hated it. Like really, really hated it. Grace must have thought really low of herself to do what she did. I won't spoil it for anyone, but I honestly didn't think she deserved Caden. I was rooting for them from the beginning but as the story progressed, I got angry. I wanted to reach into the book and smack her. She had no compassion towards the boys at all.

I didn't like Jaden, no matter his past, he knew his brother had gone through worse and deserved happiness, but it seemed he was hell bent on ruining that for him. That's not how twins should act with each other. Especially when (like i said before) in the first novel the two seemed really close. The whole family seemed really close.

Make Me By Amanda Heath

Make me

Paisley Vaughn grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. After finding her mother dead from an overdose, Paisley and her baby sister are shipped off to live with her maternal grandparents.
She always knew they were rich, she just didn’t realize how rich they were. Now she’s being forced to go to a prestigious high school. One where the tuition is more money then she’s ever seen.
Thinking these rich kids are going to be snobbish and rude, she’s surprised to find the Vaughn name means she’s untouchable. Well unless your name is Channing Southerland.
Paisley has to navigate her new life and all the new people in it. While her mother might have lied about her grandparents, no one is lying about Channing. He’s beautiful, mean, arrogant, and turning her on.
Before long a war is fought, leaving Paisley wondering if she’ll be ruined or made. Though she might just fall irrevocably in love.
