The Goal (Off-Campus Book Four) By Elle Kennedy

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

Okay, I have to be honest, I have mixed feelings over this book.
I felt like it dragged a lot but that said, it was fun getting to see how the two ended up together as such.
I do think their relationship needed to step up a little more. The mixed signals and back and forth with commitment and what they wanted drove me mad. The book was concentrated more on them actually getting together than focusing on them actually together, which I would have liked to have seen more of.

That said, I still liked it. I loved Tucker from the beginning. I really did. But Sabrina, I just couldn't get on with her character. She annoyed the hell out of me. Not only has she gotten around enough to know which lads are assholes, but she admits to herself that Tucker is different to the rest, yet, she keeps him at arms length.

Then we have the silence stretched between them when she found out she was pregnant. Instead of including Tucker in the decision, she made it herself. And for someone who wants independence and a better future, she fucked up here big time for me. She just ignored him. It's what made me dislike her.

The story plot was okay. But like I said above, it was slow, it dragged and even the birthing scene, although emotional, was rushed. All she had was him there, no one else. No flowers, teddies, cards or visitors or people waiting outside. The scene almost felt like a transaction and not life being brought into the world.

I do think the author was spot on with the struggles of being a mother. And although Sabrina wasn't a single mother, and had help from Tucker, it was her who was up all night with her since they never lived together. I think she wrote the struggles with juggling school, work and a child perfectly. Because it isn't peaches and roses. It's hard, but like Elle shows in her work, the end is beautiful.

My favourite part, and the reason I rate it a 3.5 is because of the love Tucker had for her. He may have had his partying ways but that boy was a man, a gentlemen and loyal to no fault. He really got put through the ringer with Sabrina, but he kept in there, staying loyal and I really loved that about the book and his character.

The ending was perfect too. Seeing everyone spread out, living their dreams and getting their HEA.

The Score (Off-Campus Book Three) By Elle Kennedy

He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

Book three in the Off-Campus series and Elle didn't disappoint.
Dean is the 'whore' of the group, not caring who sees and who doesn't. He likes variety and doesn't care who watches.
He's not at a loss for a bed partner, or in his case, a sofa partner. In fact, he's yet to meet someone not affected by his charms.
When Allie, a friend of Hannah's turns up at his doorstep to stay over, he's at a loss. He's got two women already naked on the front room floor making out and waiting for him to join.

What does he do?
He kicks the girls out.
Hannah invites Allie to stay in Garretts room so that Allie can avoid her ex. An ex she loves and has a hard time staying broken up with. She knows it's over between them and doesn't want to be that girl that keeps going back.
The last person she thought would help her would be the college whore.

Allie and Dean bicker back and forth, Allie not approving of Dean's whorish ways. The two end up getting drunk and sharing a bottle of tequila. The night ends with Allie in Dean's bed, waking up naked having had the best sex of her life.

Not one for one night stands it takes a while for Allie to forgive herself. But when she does a relationship forms between her and Dean and it's beautiful.

I've never been so engrossed in a book in all my life. The two share a certain sexual appetite, and can feed each others needs. They literally are perfect together.

The book finishes with a cliffhanger, but not about Dean and Allie, so I'm excited to be reading more about the characters.

The Mistake (Off-Campus Book Two) By Elle Kennedy

He’s a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.

Now he’s going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have towork for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

Could you love a character more? I loved John Logan from the first time we meet his cheeky character in The Deal. Not only is he the joker from the group, but he also has a side no one sees. That no one knows about.

When he has a sexy encounter with freshman Grace, he pushes her away. Grace, crushing on the sexy, charming hockey player, forgives him for his first mistake. He comes back and boom, she nearly gives him her V Card until he declares he's in love with someone else. He was using her for a distraction. I knew from the first book Logan wasn't in love with Hannah. He loved what she had with Garrett, but he realises all this too late and ends up losing Grace.

He then spends time trying to win her back after returning back to school after the holidays.

The only downfall about the book was Grace's character. I loved her at the beginning of the book. The girl who blurted random shit out when she was nervous and was awkward in some places. That girl disappeared as soon as Logan paid attention to her.
I really wish Elle had kept the character the same all the way through. To keep those little quirks that had drawn Logan to her in the first place.

The Deal (Off-Campus Book One) By Elle Kennedy

She's about to make a deal with the college bad boy...

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she's carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush's attention, she'll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice...even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it's going to be oh so good

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he's worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he's all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn't take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn't going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

My first book of 2016 and it went off with a blast thanks to The Deal.
I loved College romance novels, especially when they're based in America. They have that mature, loving, feel going on. I also love the atmosphere that surrounds the book. With football games, Hockey games, Baseball or Basket ball. I love how the community come together.

Hannah has had a bad past, a past that has left her feel insecure about herself amongst other things. She was such a well liked character for me. Even though, at times I wanted to bang her head against Garretts.

When they exchange the deal, you know straight away it's not going to work out. You just feel that connection between the two. They are so funny together, so easy to like that you can't help but root for them.

Garrett is a all-time hockey player. He's worked hard on the ice, but is struggling academically.
So when he finds out the sarcastic, nerdy Hannah has an A in the class he's failing, he finds her weakness. He offers her an exchange. He'll make her appeal to the person she is crushing on, for her to help him with his tutoring.

The two end up becoming close, seeing beyond what the school have labelled them.
The books was such a quick lovable read. I enjoyed every second of it. when I first got wind that the book was on sale I was all over it. Had I known it would be as good as it was I would have definitely paid full price.

Heat of the moment (Out of uniform #1) By Elle Kennedy

In this heat wave, anything and everything goes.
A Red-Hot Summer story.
Shelby Harper has lusted over Navy SEAL John Garrett for over a year, but no matter how many sexy signals she sends out, the man shows a complete lack of interest in getting naked. Then she overhears Garrett talking to his SEAL teammate—a discussion in which they conclude she’s vanilla. Stung, Shelby sets out to show them exactly how un-vanilla she is.
Garrett can’t believe it when sweet, sexy Shelby suggests a wild and sweaty ménage. He’s been trying to figure out how to ask her out without coming off as a guy who only wants to get in her pants—her friendship is too valuable to him to risk it. But if a crazy, heat-wave three-way is what Shelby wants, then he’s ready and willing to give it to her.
Once she gets it out of her system, however…well, then he’ll let her know he wants her all to himself.

Heat of the moment is a short story. When I purchased the book I honestly thought it was a full length novel, but to my disappointment it wasn't.
Although, I did find the author worked brilliantly with what she written in the length that she did.

The book has one steamy sex scene where she not only asks to sleep with the man she has crushed on from afar, but also his bestfriend, having heard of their activity's from other customers.
