I love this book and read it a few times now and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time.
Jacqueline, as it says in blurb, follows her long term boyfriend to college for him to finish a few weeks into starting college. He wanted to sleep around basically and told that to her.
When her boyfriend broke up with her so did all his friends. They ignored her. She'd been down in the dumps at for a few weeks before deciding to go out to a party, but after seeing her Ex she decides to leave on her own.
Bad decision!!!
She ends up been attacked by one of her Ex boyfriends fraternity brothers. Thankfully, Lucas, the dark, brooding stranger is in the right place at the right time and helps Jacqueline.
Not reporting the incident might have been one of the worst things she could have done because her attacker becomes her stalker.
Jacqueline decides to take self defense classes to help her feel more confident, when again she has to face her savior who helps her.
Only her savior has secrets of his own.
The story is really gripping and so addictive. I loved both characters and the serious of the situation is a good read for everyone. The story proves that you could have some well dressed, well lived prep boy who is someone you can't trust, but then have a tattooed, pierced bad boy who you can trust whole heartily.
Loved it and the ending was perfect.
