Maybe This Time
Andie is moving on with her life, wanting to marry her fiance. So when her ex-husband asks her for one more favor she doesn't refuse.A distant cousin of his has died leaving his two children in his care. He has his housekeeper watching over the children as they refuse to leave there home.
So when Andie arrives she is freaked by the big old creepy house, she thinks nothing could get any creeper. well she was wrong .....
I am HUGE fan of Jenny Cruise, i have read every book that is out and this one is by far my most favorite.
Its hilariously funny to read and i fell in love with Alice straight away, even though she is really strange. Bee-you-tee-full.
Andie goes in prepared to watch over two children and school them as they don't go to a school But the house keeper freaks her out.
Then she starts having all these dreams about her ex-husband and has it in her mind he is doing this to win her back.
There isn't a character you will dislike, even the spooky's.
Jenny makes the book realistic with the phantom/ghost story line, also keeping it hilariously funny.
There is a few sneaky twists i didn't see coming but this book was amazing too read. i stayed up till three in the morning just so i knew what was going to happen.
Like i said Alice was my favorite character. She is the orphan child who the ghosts seem to be attached too. Its only the children who can see them, which is great story line as most kids do see more than what adults tend too.
From the hair pulling tantrums, to the heart to hearts, you see relationships bond between Andie and the Children, more with Alice then Carter.
Its one of those books where you have to read to get the feel of the book.
Promise it won't disappoint you.
