Welcome to Sugartown By Carmen Jenner

Welcome to Sugartown

Ana is from a small town, one where nothing happens, considerably boring place.
This was until Elijah turns up into town on his bike, leaving Ana wanting.
The two grow close but not close enough she wants to hand over her V-card, as Elijah is keeping secrets and a past he wont share, putting her and himself in danger......
~WARNING, sexual violence, explicit sex scenes,  violence, strong language ...~

Did not see this book going the way it did. As i always i predicted, girl meets boy, boy meets girl, they fall madly in love and the bad guys show up and he saves the day.
well this is kind of true, i guess.
Holly, Ana's best friend is so funny it caught me off guard making me spit all my drink out. It was that funny. Although sometimes i wish Ana would scream, shut up at her.
There were two accounts in the book they i really didn't want to read, over Ana and sexual violence. It made my heart stop and my blood boil with anger.
When Elijah saves Ana on the first account and retaliates on the second, i was so over the moon, even if he did go the wrong way about it. Yet i thought Ana was been selfish by been angry at him. For not forgiving him soon enough.
This is when i felt the book drag but Holly and Jackson make it up with the hilarious banter.
I felt Ana and Elijah's Reunion as a couple took too long, but none of the less i was ecstatic to see them back together. If they are they don't really clarify it.

Even though this book is nothing like i had imagined, i still enjoyed the read. I hear there is a number two coming soon or is out, but nothing from this book left me wanting to read another.

I gave the book a £3.5 *

Have you read this book? what did you think ? If you haven't get reading now and let us hear what you have to say :)
