At any price By Brenna Aubrey

Achievement Unlocked: Geek Virgin
When Mia Strong, proud geek-girl and popular gaming blogger, auctions off her virginity online, she knows she'll make waves. But what she will not be making is a love connection. Her rules are set in stone: One night. No further contact.
It's a desperate step, but it's the only way she can go to medical school and pay her mother's mounting hospital bills.

Difficulty Level: Millionaire CEO
Adam Drake, the enigmatic auction winner, is a software prodigy who made his first million at seventeen. Now, in his mid-twenties, he's sexy, driven and--as CEO of his own gaming company--he's used to making the rules. Before Mia knows what's happening, he's found the loophole in the rules of her auction. Every stipulation she's made to protect her heart gets tossed by the wayside.
She can't tell if he's playing her...or if he's playing for keeps.
Read on for my review.......

This isn't a new release but i hadn't come across it till now and lets just say the description had me seriously intrigued.
For one i remember a while ago i read in a magazine of a woman who sold her virginity online so i just had to read this novel. I mean seriously she sells her virginity so she can go pre-med and help her mother with the ranch she owns. Well it comes across very noble but also not all is as it seems. The description makes it out to be simple but its anything but.

Mia is a lovely girl and has had a traumatic past when it comes to men. Her father unknown and a complete jerk has put doubt on love in her mind. When she was at school she also had a bad experience in school with an old boyfriend forcing him self onto her, which has also left her vunerable and closed off when it comes to relationships. So to me her virginity did really seem like just a piece of skin to her. That is until you get to know her. It does mean something to her but she has it in her mind men don't care about anything other then themselves. In reality i would agree but i really loved Adams character.
I knew straight away who he was secretly and i had my suspicions and they were right. What i never got was Mia's attitude towards him. He done nothing but help her and try to keep her from doing something that was wrong on so many levels. If she badly wanted rid of it she had men lining up ready to date her. So it all come down to money and i found it hard to relate as to why she would sell her self short on the matter. she protected her body and mind for so long why sell it out and destroy it further.
Anyway as secrets are relieved and the truth is out Mia runs and Adam does turn into a jerk for a few seconds in the novel but it all ends well.
The story was enjoyable and beautifully written. It wasn't as sordid as i first thought it would be. There was real feelings involved and when it come down to it the money never mattered to either of them.
