Leather and Sand By Jayna Vixen

What happens when Rhiannon Blake and Dax Jamison, the ultra-sexy, alpha male vice president of the Phantoms motorcycle club cross paths once more? Find out in this highly anticipated sequel to the popular motorcycle romance drama, Satin and Steel.

All Rhiannon Blake wanted was to find her little sister, Mickey. Meeting Dax Jamison led to emotional havoc and a secret that left Rhee scared and confused. She did the only thing she could think of: she ran. Rhiannon figured that leaving was the best solution for both she and Dax. Little did she know, her disappearance affected Dax more deeply then she could have imagined. When he finds her again...he's not exactly pleased when he discovers Rhiannon's little secret.
Read on for my review ...

Finished this last night and i still don't know whether i want to scream about how good it was or how devastating i was with the ending.
The book starts with Dax yet again saving Rhee. I was so glad they found each other again but still disappointed about how many years they were apart.
Rhee and her daughter are brought into the world of the MC once again and put in danger.
The feel of this book is raw and so honest. Yes this may never happen in everyday life but the writer makes it so believable it will have you gripping your cushion waiting to see what happens.
I love the new characters aswel and i love Manali, her insight on life and death and just general stuff was so amazing. I seriously do believe if i ever met a lady like her i think i would become love her for real.

The only downfall to the novel which effected my rating was how it ended. We were no closer to finding her sister Mickey and having answers as to why she left. The photo situation was dealt with, so i wasn't sure why she was still on the run. The the author has to tease us some more by giving us a clip from Mickeys POV. Tease. Dam tease.
Then there was the issue with Alanna. Oh god i seriously thought she was weird. Seriously obsessed with Dax.
She was the main reason my 5* review got down to 4* because she said she had information on the club, one in which is betraying the club. We don't even know if she survived or even what this information was. Its killing me to know who it is because they all seemed like a close set of men. Loyal to one another and to the club, so not knowing what this was is annoying as hell.
Hopefully Jayna Vixen will be doing another followup novel. Wishful thinking.

4*
