It took me a while to finally get into this novel and even then I still found it lacked something to keep my interest. I don't know whether it was because of how it was written as it was told from someone telling the story and not from one of the characters POV.
That said I rated the novel a 3* as they story line is really good.
I haven't read the first in the series so I never understood their POV on Alana.
