Three years By Lilli St Germain

Every day for six years, I used to pray that I would find my way back to the boy I loved.

Until finally, one day, I did.

But that’s the funny thing about life. Nothing good ever lasts, not for me, anyway. You think you’re the one with the power, at least I did, but then I got careless. One tiny mistake, and now I am powerless to stop what comes next.

People think money equals power, but all the money in my bank account, the dirty notes laundered clean that my father left for me, are useless.

Money does not equal power. Power is held by the one with the knife in his hand, tracing shallow cuts into your skin.

Power is held by the one who owns you.

I had power once.

Now, I have nothing.

This has to be the best one yet. Why is it Lilli always knows how to keep us hanging? I couldn't put the book down. Three years is more gritty, more intense, and has some serious dark scenes in the book. I wouldn't usually read a book like this, but from the first novel I haven't been able to let go of the series. I NEED to know if she gets the revenge she needed.

The book is about her been caught. They know who she is. I don't want to give to much away because it will ruin the WHOLE story line. All I can say is there were times when I thought she would never get her revenge and times where I hoped she would.
I've never read a book like this. Its so emotional, and intense, its .... god, its just addictive.
The story ended on another high, and has me screaming for more. I really wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next one, but I'd rather wait for perfection then have it tomorrow and be disappointed.

All in all 5* Although I think the author deserves a massive medal for the things she has to write about and also get all the emotional, feeling, and horror in there. It really is an amazing read. One where revenge consumes you too.
