Raid (The unfinished Hero series #3) By Kristen Ashley

Hanna Boudreaux has lived in the small town of Willow all her life. She’s sweet, cute and quiet.

Hanna has a moment of epiphany when she realizes her crush for forever, Raiden Ulysses Miller, is not ever going to be hers. She sees her life as narrow and decides to do something about it.

Raiden Miller is the town’s local hero. A former Marine with the medal to prove his hero status, he comes home, shrouded in mystery. It takes a while, but eventually Hanna catches his eye.

After all these years of Raid and Hanna living in the same town, the question is why? Is Raid interested in Hanna because she’s sweet and cute? Or does Raid have something else going on?

I got so into this book, but just like Deacon, it was another disappointment for me, but it hasn't stopped me loving the book. It was still kickass.
I liked both characters, Hanna more than Raid because he was an asshole most of the time. I felt like I could have smacked him upside the head LOL
He never gave her a minute to blooming breathe lol.
It wasn't as much as him been alpha male, but about certain things he had a go at her for. You'll understand when you read it :)

That said, the story line was brilliant, but the ending was not what Kristen Ashley usually brings to the table. It never had no action. Hanna is attacked, there is nothing on it, it's literally her being pulled in her house and then her lay on the floor with someone talking into her face, giving her a warning. I would have liked there to be more emotion or something. Then there was Raid getting his revenge. We got NOTHING!!! Nothing what so ever. Annoyed the hell out me. I needed some action, something to make me go WOW like all her previous books, but nope, not this one.
