The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent boys #2) By Abbi Glines

Sawyer Vincent is still heartbroken over his breakup with Ashton Gray - made worse because he lost her to his brother - but Lana McDaniel thinks she might just have a cure. Lana's lived in her cousin Ashton's shadow all her life, but now she's taking the lead and is determined to make Sawyer her man. But can she be sure that Sawyer's not just using her to get back at Ashton? And what if Sawyer sees through her new sexy version of herself and discovers the shy, geeky girl she used to be?

Lana is a shy girl, and is really jealous when it comes too Ashton.

As a child Beau would pick on Lana, and be incredibly mean. So she never understood why Ashton always hung out with him. The couple shared a bond that Lana never had or understood, but in a way, always wanted, just not with Beau.

Lana is in love with Sawyer, and has been since they were kids, but he never noticed anyone passed Ashton, so i think that is another reason Lana was always Jealous of Ashton. She had something she wanted.

When she does finally get Sawyer to notice her, it's for all the wrong reasons. I feel really sorry for her and what she had to endure from him. She is completely in love with him, and settles for a 'no relationship' - 'just fun' with him.
I know Sawyer was been honest with her - well not completely - and I can understand why he wouldn't want to put himself back out there, but Lana is different and even he can see that. Plus, for someone who knows what it's like to be messed around on, he shouldn't have done it to Lana knowing her feelings ran deeper than she was letting on.

At times he was so mean to her. I felt like he never put her first when he should have. Lana and any other girl out there should never settle for anything but the best. It was infuriating to watch because in the description it says that Sawyer uses Lana to make Ashton Jealous and win her back, but I could never see it. Yes i think apart of him wanted to hurt Ashton, but I wish he would have just gotten over it.

Although i love Beau, I enjoyed reading Sawyers and Lana story more. I felt more involved and found myself completely lost. The Epilogue was a nice touch too.

All in all i rated the books 5*, they completely deserved it. Abbi Glines is FANTASTIC writer and these books are just a few of many, of the reasons why.
