EVE
What’s the most selfless thing you’ve ever done? What price tag would you put on the ability to save the ones you love?
They say the worst decisions are made by the desperate or the fools.
I was desperate enough to make a foolish decision to save my family. The cost? Me.
They may be a motorcycle club, but in all honesty they’re really an elite unit of criminals who just happen to drive motorcycles. They’re a business. An organization. A fully functioning army…
What’ I’ve learned? They work in the gray area; life and death is real; and everyone wants everyone dead. Okay, so maybe that’s dramatic… No. No it’s not. It’s legit.
I prepared for the worst, fully anticipating hating my new life. Turns out, I finally found out where I belonged. Oh, and I discovered I’m a little twisted or crazy. Maybe both.
Drex Caine, the man without a conscience, didn’t ruin me the way I thought he would. Instead, he made me feel like I was living instead of just waiting to live. And I can never go back to the way things used to be.

I'm so glad I took a chance on this book. When I read the blurb it didn't really capture my attention like all other CM Owen books did.
Eve is in a situation, a bad one. One that has her turning to her bestfriends, dads, MC for money. Only, she has to sell herself in return. Not to that MC, but to the MC known for being notorious. She's handed over as a gift (piece offering) and ends up in the hands of Drex and not Drex's father. Thank heavens.
I don't usually like MC's like this, ones with no morals, or any kindness in their souls. But Drex and his little group of followers seem to be my kind of MC. His father though, and his bandit of loyal followers are another story.
Her life at the club changes so much and she finds herself finally belonging, slowly. She also finds herself enjoying the way Drex ties her up in knots, manipulates her body and twists her up inside.
I don't want to give to much away, but the book does end on a cliffhanger. I freaking loved it. I couldn't put it down and moved onto the second book straight away.
5*
