The Return (The Titan Series #1) By Jennifer L. Armentrout

A year ago, Seth made a deal with the gods - and pledged his life to them. Now, Apollo has a task for Seth: one which sees him playing protector over a beautiful, feisty girl who's strictly off-limits. And for someone who has a problem with restraint, this assignment might be Seth's most challenging yet.
Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy's deal is, but he arrives in her life just as everything she's ever known is turned upside down. Either she's going insane, or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is heading her way.
Josie can't decide which is more dangerous: an angry Titan seeking vengeance? Or the golden-eyed, secretive Seth - and the white-hot attraction developing between them...

When Seth pledged his life, his soul to the Gods, he did it because he owed it to Alex, the other Apollyon.

But to be honest, after reading this book, I think he did it to punish himself. I don't hate him anymore. I guess I've been fifty-fifty through the other series but now seeing this side to him, I actually really like him. For me, he redeemed himself in the last series.

He's asked to protect Josie, who has no idea who she is or why she's so affected by the new, mysterious guy. She's actually really awkward and accident prone and when you find out what she is, that should be impossible.
Josie is in two minds about her world. Her mom is treated for being crazy- or so everyone thinks. (There's more to the story.) So anytime she has one of her weird episodes or thinks she's seeing things, she thinks she's turning into her mom, but she's not.
Only, there's more to Josie than meets the eye. She's more than a demi God. It's who her father is that will shock the ever lovin crap out of you. But to be fair, it made me love this God more. I really wish he'd get his own book because I love him. Though, I do hate it when he talks in riddles. She also shares a lot of traits with Alex... I'll let that hang there for you.
Anyway, Seth trying to convince her of who she is, is hilarious. Oh, and one of the fury sisters is in this one and I actually really like her.

Anyway, Seth is ordered to protect her, to take her to the school where there is enough God magic to keep her safe from the Titan's.
Yes, Titan's.
When they released the titan in the last book, they thought it would be easy. The thought they could just pop him back to Hades and be done. But when they kill the God in the last one, they weaken and in the process, the magic keeping the titan's a sleep weakens. So the little Titan releases some of them. And to survive, they need to feed off Demi Gods, much like Deamon feed off Pures and halfs.

Great start to the series and I love the fact they have brought in some of my favourite characters.
