Finding us By Debra Presley

Pop star Abby Murphy is living every girl’s dream. She has fame, fortune, and a handsome boyfriend, a guitar player named Sean. That changes the night she finds him in the arms of another woman. Hurt and betrayed, Abby ends their relationship. But Sean won't accept the breakup, and she soon learns that he’s had a hidden agenda all along. Overnight, Sean transforms from loving boyfriend to dangerous adversary, and Abby no longer knows who she can trust among her friends and family.

Abby turns to her bodyguard, Danny Nucci, a man who will do everything in his power to keep her safe. But when Abby realizes her feelings for Danny run much deeper than she thought, she refuses to give in to her attraction in order to preserve her new found independence as well as protect Danny from Sean's machinations.

When Abby finally finds the strength to reclaim her life and acknowledge her growing love for Danny, will she be able to let him in? And will Danny be able to overcome his own demons to be the man she needs him to be? Or will she be forced to let him go forever?

Pop star Abby Murphy is on tour, ready to start her new album. She's dating the guitar player Sean, but because of the schedule her mother has her on, she has no time to see him.

So one night when she's doing her interviews and what not, she tells him she'll just see him back at their room. When he's not there and realizes she's left her phone in her dressing room, she takes a risk going out on her own without her body guards to retrieve it.
It ends up with her walking in on Sean sleeping with the groupy she caught him talking to earlier that night. What should have been a couples tiff, turned into an argument, things got heated and shit was said, but I honestly didn't get that vibe off Sean.

Everything is blown WAY out of proportion and I honestly nearly gave up reading it. But the more I read, the better it got.

Abbie and Danny find themselves fighting the attraction they have to one another, but Danny, having lost someone from not been able to save them before starts to realize he's pushing his body guard boundaries over the line. He's there for her in more ways than someone just protecting her for a job.

I loved the two together, and was so glad I picked this up.

The book does need a little bit of work done on it, but other than that, it is fine.
