What he wants he gets...

Knox Masters is a quarterback's worst nightmare. Warrior. Champion. And...virgin. Knox knows what he wants--and he gets it. All American Football player? Check. NFL pros scouting him? Check. Now, he's set his sight on two things. The national title. And Ellie Campbell. Sure, she's the sister of his fellow teammate, but that's not going to stop him. Especially not when he’s convinced Ellie is the one.

...but he's never met her before.
But Ellie isn't as sure. She's trying to start a new life and she's not interested in a relationship...with anyone. Beside it's not just her cardinal rule of never dating her brother's teammates that keeps her away, but Ellie has a dark secret that would jeopardize everything Knox is pursuing.
Knox has no intention of losing. Ellie has no intention of giving in.

Knox Masters is a hero at his school. All time best at what he does. He meets Ellie at the beginning of the book. They're both training.
I will admit it took me a little to get into, everything was so DETAILED. I mean down to the last chair in a room.
They talk about football like it's a religion, and to be honest, it kind of did make sense. Sort of. To me, football is just a game. But hey, to each of their own.
Ellie in the book is harboring some dark secret. I honestly presumed it would be a pregnancy she gave up, a boyfriend she killed, but what it actually was didn't really get me going 'oh no'
Knox pretty much falls for Ellie straight off and is completely smitten with her. She finds herself been herself around him to. The two are actually cute together. And their attempts at changing his virgin status? Funny.
Never, throughout the book could I picture him a virgin. He was so freaking hot.
I love the test he done with Ellie including his twin brother, who, is also a football player attending another school. And boy do I want to read his book. Loved him. He is totally different than Knox. He's untrusting towards people and sees the bad, whereas, Knox sees the good in everything.
All in all I did enjoy the storyline. It was something I needed to read at that particular time. I didn't want all the nonsense love triangle drama, or the hidden secrets.
It's taken me a while to get the review written down. Not because the book slipped my mind, but because of other commitments.
3/5*
I've recommended this to other readers and I know this book will be a big hit with some.
