Yoga instructor Kylie Roberts is the good twin. At least she was—until an accident forces Kylie to step into her twin’s sexy stilettos at a posh Hollywood “men’s club." But nothing could've prepared Kylie for the dead body in the club’s parking lot or the ridiculously hot detective who insists the killer is targeting her regulars.
Detective Trevor McCade needs Kylie’s help to draw out the killer. It means long nights undercover and long dances where Kylie’s body tempts him with sensual promises. Dances that leave them both wanting more. But despite Kylie's hidden identity and the danger lurking in the shadows, it’s only a matter of time before Kylie and Trevor take this undercover operation under the covers…
I liked this book but didn't really feel anything spectacular about it.
I thought Kylie was so so so brave stepping in her sisters place and doing what she done.
When she does her first dance her eyes connect with Trevor and instantly was drawn to each other.
So when she was off stage and called for a lap dance to his specific table i knew it was going to be him.
what i didn't expect was that the book was hot and steamy and that Kylie was going to be a virgin giving out lap dances and getting off on it. So at least that was a surprise read.
The plot is about murders happening around Stacey and when she finds herself in an alone car park out side the club the last thing she thought to find was a dead body and she never expected Trevor would be the detective. Surprised she finds her self lieing about her identity and Trevor sees right through her.
After the first time she was walked out of club to her car and then after finding the body i instantly knew who the killer was it was too obvious.
All in all i really enjoyed reading the book. It was quick and easy to follow. I only wish the ending was more dramatic, more action in it, to see Trevor at his finest. I mean we got to see what Kylie can do but we didn't really get to see much of what Trevor has to do.
Rated the novel 3.5*
