Never too far (Rosemary Beech #2) By Abbi Glines

Rush withheld a secret that had destroyed Blaire's world. She knows she can never forgive him, but she can't forget him either… Now, Blaire's back home in Alabama and is trying to move on with her life … until something happens to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately? You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.

Still heartbroken, and mourning the loss of Rush and the betrayal, Blaire is back in her home town with a secret of her own.

Once again she struggles to come to terms with the direction her life is leading, and when news is upturned, and Blaire is back in Rosemary Beech, she tries her hardest to trust Rush, but when he continues to put his sisters needs first, she doesn't know what to do. Especially with the secret she is carrying.

I was glad Blaire has Woods and her friends looking out for her in this book. With everything that happened in Fallen too far, she really needed them, especially now she's determined to still do everything by herself, not relying on anyone to help her. The only person who I found wasn't really there for Blaire was Grant and that shocked me. Then too find out his relationship to Nan after everything she had done to Blaire and Rush's relationship shocked me even more. I didn't see him going for her type.

Moving in with Bethy was a safe haven for Blaire, she needed that space to call her own. I think it made her feel more independent. It also gave Rush a chance to help her move in, too provide for her, but she turns him down immediately. But still, hormones and her feelings for Rush are still there simmering, so when she's alone, locked in a bathroom with him, things get out of hand and once again, she sleeps with Rush.

Rush steps up and takes control once Blaire secret is revealed, and when another huge bomb is thrown at Rush's family, once again Blaire is torn in the middle, but it's Rush been torn apart by them, not finding a balance to handle them both.

I can't wait to read the next in the series.
