The Cross Fire Series By Sylvia Day

The cross Fire Series 1-3

Eva has a troubled past just like Gideon, so when the pair are drawn together like magnets, only been together opens wounds they would rather stay closed......
First of all, people say this is the same as 50 shades of grey. only i disagree they are nothing alike. Yes both have two people who are crazy together but as far as the dominance and sub goes i don't really see Gideon bringing out whips and flocks.
They are both two totally unique stories. Gideon and Eva's story are about two souls who were both abused as children, both fighting to overcome what there childhoods brought them.
Gideon is rich and power and he shows it, were as Eva has money yet doesn't show it or want it.
The chemistry between the two is unbelievably strong they need each other in ways no one understands, and both still fighting past there demands together.
It is an emotional novel and so intense when it comes to the two together with passion.
The story continues as each fight battles. There love is strong enough Gideon killed for her. This is what i mean with intense.
With those who read reflected in you, we finally get a glimpse of a deeper Gideon, where Eva puts his fears to the test.
The scene coming towards there wedding night was unbelievable tense and was so hard to read, in a good way.
The way Eva tries to show him a touch he doesn't have to fear was heartbreaking. Yet i still couldn't take my eyes off the book. I was finished within the day of REFLECTED IN YOU was released.
The next novel can not come quick enough.
People live with these situations every day ( abuse ) and i think Sylvia Day writes about it with care and sensitivity.
The cross fire series is beyond anything i have ever read and although Christian Grey suffered some abuse as a child it was nothing compared to the abuse Eva and Gideon were put through.
It does annoy me when i see the two compared together, when they are so unique in themselves. It like a book you don't or shouldn't want to read about yet you do anyway. The strong bond between the two is what had me hooked, so the abuse part was worth reading through, although it made me mad It still made the book the success it is.

Well done to Sylvia Day on the Cross Fire series and i cannot wait until the next one is out on release. Loved them.
