I cannot decide whether or not i enjoyed this book or not. It was so hard not to love yet i felt like the book as a whole missed something.
I am now told there is another in the series The Weathering storm and i don't think i will be reading it. I don't think i can sit and read through another mighty storm that is Trudy's and Jake's relationship. I want to leave the book as it is with them happy and getting married. I won't be able to handle any more obstacles in their relationship.
The first part of the book is all about the magnetic attraction between the couple. As Trudy is in a committed relationship with Will it was only a matter of time before she fell into bed with Jake. I was glad they didn't drag the affair out. I felt deeply sorry for Will he was hard not to love but you know he isn't right for Trudy from the beginning.
I felt like Trudy finally got what she wanted then found excuses as to why she didn't want to be with him. It drove me insane when she broke a mans heart, so going into a relationship with Jake, she was going in eyes wide open. She knew who he was, what he does and how famous he really is.
I have to mention the sex scenes were HOT !! like really hot. They were graphical and exotic, which made the characters attraction that much stronger.
The novel was beautifully written i was just in a no nonsense romance and this one wasn't it. They have too many problems too solve and get through and reading through the next books description Jake has added another to that list.
I will probably read the next novel in the future and find out how it all ends but for now i will go with what i got.
The ending seemed to whiz past, especially since Trudy was determined she wouldn't get back with him, then he produces a wedding ring and that's it they am back together.
I wish the characters a happy ending.....
4* i rated this novel and hope you all enjoy. Jake has definitely hit my top book boyfriend list ;)
