She was never part of the plan.

She was simply a payment, and once the debt was settled, she would be nothing to me.

I'd had to read this one as soon as I finished the first one.
Oh my God, this book didn't disappoint. Had me crying in a lot of places and cringing in others. It also kept me on the edge of my seat.
I honestly didn't know what to expect when I began reading this. First, I thought Alzerro was dead and Beth had been taken to be a sex slave.
I'd been nearly there with my assumption. Alzerro was basically near deaths door until his long time friend saves him.
Said friend is also more involved in the story than what the author first makes us believe. I couldn't believe the secrets that were spilling out in front of me. I loved it. Everything surprised me, including the ending.
Jesus the ending is enough to give any one a heart failure, but I will say it ends with a HEA

He believed the only way to pay for something, if unable to do so, was to do it in blood. Nothing got him harder than stringing someone up, and putting a bullet in their head.
That is until Bree.
One look is all it took for him to know she could pay for her father’s debt in many other ways… Ways that could get him hard.

I'd ordered this book ages ago, but never got the time to read it or another book would come up.
As soon as I read the first three chapters I knew I was going to love it. I did get confused on who was who in some places, but never with the main characters. It only happened with the background characters.
Alzerro is a mafia boss who doesn't take too kindly to people not paying their debts. So for a payment he takes Bree, the small town country girl who's father owes him money.
Bree is attracted to him straight away and although he doesn't touch her at first you can feel the attraction coming from out of the pages between the two.
There are a lot of twist and turns that will have you gasping. The ending however completely ruined me. I had to quickly download the next one and start it just to see what happened. It's truly addictive.
Alzerro is controlling, sexy and secretly has a damn good heart. So the ending really did surprise me like it will most of you. I also never guessed or predicted anything whilst reading it which is unlike me. I've usually guessed the plot three chapters in. Not with this one though.
