Lucky's choice (The last Riders #7) By Jamie Begley

Life dealt him a dead man’s hand.

Lucky had always led a life of service. Always put his life on the line for someone else, managing to survive by pure luck and skill. After bringing an end to a multi-state drug ring, he was finally able to live the life he had wanted as a Last Rider…

A good man would walk away and not touch the curvy woman who had been tugging on his heartstrings. Lucky wasn’t a good man. Therefore, the bad-ass biker in him had a choice: once again become the man he had pretended to be and stake his claim, or take the devil’s highway.

Some girls had all the luck.

Willa wasn’t one of them. All she wanted to do was give a home to the children she had made orphans. Instead, she found herself needing help from the man who had left the pulpit behind to embrace a life of sin.

Painfully shy and withdrawn she wanted a quiet life, a simple man, and well-behaved children. The last thing she had ever expected was for Lucky to want her size twenty body and show her a passion that would lead her straight to hell.

Awe, Jamie, Jamie, Jamie..... where do I freaking start.....

Lucky....

Yes, I'll start with that sexy as sin man. He's been a preacher, priest, or whatever, in the army, undercover, and now belongs to a motorcycle club. Lucky has always had me intrigued throughout the Last Rider series, even before I knew he was uncover. I always knew he had a dark past as such, but actually reading his story was surprising. It really shocked me at how much he has been through, how much he believes in and how much he stops himself from being happy. I never understood how he fit into the Last Riders until this novel.

Knifes... our Lucky loves his knifes and boy is he seriously HOT with them. Not that I'd like it if it was me, I could see why Willa was so terrified LOL

Now Willa.... I first pictured Willa as this middle aged, overweight lady, but then during a recent book I pictured her as a middle aged woman with a rounded body, but after reading this book, I still don't see her as this overweight woman who bakes cakes and is Lily and Rachel's age. I don't see her that way AT all. When I read the teaser that said something about her being a size 18 I was like, NOOOOO, THAT'S NOT RIGHT.

Now, I have my own mind made up and I picture her as young, Rachel and Lily's age, but mature for her age and I see her slightly rounded with large hips, but larger breasts. I don't see anything wrong with her weight.
I loved Willa, and wish we saw more of her during the other books. During Cash's book she is nearly raped, and Rachel is nearly killed by the same man, but in the end Willa kills him and is stuck with a brat of a teenager, who is the eldest, and throughout the book I wanted someone to put that girl in her place or for Willa to disown her. She was so freaking mean to Willa, it was heart breaking.
Then she had three little ones and another teenager she had to look after, after killing their dad and uncle. It puts a lot of strain of Willa, but I also believe it made her stronger.
Willa never had an easy life growing up, not that you would know by knowing her, reading about her.
I felt sorry for her that no one ever took the time to get to know her. I could see exactly where she was coming from with all her fears about friendships etc and it really made me feel for her more.
Anyway, after the eldest gets into trouble once again, social services threaten to take away all the kids from Willia, but then Lucky steps in and saves the day, telling the social worker they are getting married.

The story continues to grow and I loved it. Lucky has a secret that is revealed during this book. We also watch friendship turn into love, and Lucky finally let someone in.
It was a beautiful story.

5*

Well done Jamie Begley, you did it again.

Also, I'm sorry to any readers who cannot get on with this review LOL I get carried away when I'm typing a good review out.

Arrow's Hell (Wind Dragons MC #2) By Chantal Fernando

Being the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member isn’t as great as you’d think it would be.

I can’t escape the details of my brother’s exploits. No one tells me anything. Men who know who I am tend to stay away from me.

And worst of all: the members of the MC are off-limits.

When Arrow catches my eye, I make it my mission to make him happy again.

When I fall head over heels in love with him, I just hope he will be there to catch me. And that my brother doesn’t kill him…

I received an ARC of Arrow's Hell by NETGALLEY

I loved Arrow in the first one. He was one of my favourite characters. For some reason though I always saw him as an older man, aging, etc, but he's far from old and unfit, trust me. I don't know why I just did. It's been long since I read the first one, so I could have just been remembering another book I'd read, but him cooking naked took me back to thinking it.

I liked Anna and Arrow together, but being totally honest, I didn't really get that love connection. When she confesses her undying love for him I felt it, but looking back I can't see where it came from, or what gave it her because there hadn't been much of an interaction to warrant it. Still didn't put me off the book. As a younger sister, newly, to the MC, she's still getting to know the way they live. But her smart mouth, sassy attitude, and her determination catch the eye of Arrow, who she brings out of his misery of a life. He holds a lot of guilt towards Mary, the death of one of the clubs women who he loved and feels like it's him that killed her. I could see her fascination with him, he's so broody, good looking, and closed off.

Chantal has a little twist up her sleeve in the book, one you will NOT see coming. It shocked the shit into me. Once it started to come out I knew right away what was about to be said. Still, I gasped. It was so shocking.

All in all the story is brilliant and well written. I had hoped for a little more, but with Trackers book next I'll have to wait.

4.5*

I will comment, although this is an ARC, the price of the book is £7.03 (At time of posting this review) I usually purchase ARC that I enjoy on E-book or Paperback, but at this price I can't afford that.

Ride steady ( The Chaos series Book Three) By Kristen Ashley

Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy–until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling single mom stranded by flat tire, Carissa’s pondering her mistake when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he’s the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa’s acting, it’s clear she’s falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker’s secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa–or ride away forever…

I received an ARC of Ride Steady from Netgalley......

I LOVE Kristen Ashley.
Like all OF her work.
Not one book I've rated lower than a 3*. And what I love most is her men. No one can beat her hot, alpha males. Carson is no different, I LOVED him.

This book holds so much truth it's unbelievable. Not many couples stay together when they have a baby or when they're married. It's like they say: you have to kiss a lot of toads before you kiss you're frog. Its the way I see Kristen Ashley's books. All her female characters have given themselves up to a man, and found it wasn't the one they were destined to be with. It proves my theory with the whole frog part, because as soon as they meet one of KA's men they go ga-ga for them. Which, I would totally do the same.
I loved her little lad, he was so freaking adorable and I could honestly connect to her as a mother.
Her ex husband is a complete ass. He stops her from breastfeeding cause of it being inconvenient for him, he cheats then moves his mistress in, then getting engaged before the divorce papers are signed.
I felt so sorry for her because all she wanted was to be a wife and a mother. She was so perfect for it too.
As soon as she meets Carson, who she already knew but didn't know it, her ex husband starts showing interest again, making her life and their little boys hell.

Carson has changed who he is. He runs from home at eighteen I think it was, before he finished school anyway. But he leaves to find himself, to get away from his abusive father.
Years later he comes back as Joker, not as Carson. He pulls over on the side of the road to help a woman in need, Carissa, and he's disappointed when Carissa doesn't recognize him.

I loved all the other characters and it was great seeing all the others and how they brought Carissa into the fold so easily, making her come out of her shell. It's what true friends are and for people who didn't know her, they took her in just like that.

The story flows really easily, but I have to say I was disappointed with the ending in a way. I expected more drama, more action, just more...
I was hoping her ex husband would be out of the picture by the end of the book, but it all ends differently than I anticipated.

In all I rate the book 4*

Coming out (Hawks MC Novella) By Lila Rose

Living a lie, Matthew ‘Mattie’ Alexander is exhausted. It’s not easy to keep up the pretence, the deceit, but it’s safer. Coming out to a world that so easily hates takes a courage he’s yet to find, so he pretends – pretends to be into women – pretends to love being a part of the university’s football team. It keeps him safe, hidden.

Until he meets Julian.

From the moment they first meet, Mattie knows life is about to change. He’s yet to determine if it is for the better or worse. Living life through laughter, Julian is lonely. Without the jokes, the humour, he would be living on the edge of depression. Succumbing to his controlling father’s demands, Julian finds no joy in the path laid out before him.

Until he meets Mattie.

As soon as they cross paths, Mattie has the power to drive Julian’s man parts crazy with lust. But can lust be enough to help Mattie out of the closet, and guide Julian into a happier place?

Limits will be pushed. Rules will be broken. But it’s only together, that they will have the strength to overpower fear, fear of themselves and fear of others. Just how far are they willing to go in the aim of coming out?

I've not read any M/M romance novels. I've read M/F/M, but never M/M and believe me when I tell you this book is the fucking shit.
It's so freaking hot it's unbelievable.
Julian is one of my favourite characters from the Hawks MC series, and in Black out we see a side to Julian that is tortured, pained and so freaking traumatized that it breaks your heart. But no one knows exactly what he went through.
I honestly thought back when he first came into the series it was just his parents not accepting him being gay but it's more than that. My God is it more than that.
I don't want to give too much away, but his father and mother are completely sick in the head. Not only did they not accept Julian, a caring, loyal, wonderful, beautiful, caring man, but they tortured him throughout his whole life. Even at the age of thirty something does his father still control his life, beating him, telling him how to act, where to work.
It's how he meets Mattie. His father makes him a masseur for a local football team where Mattie plays. I think he did it more so the players could make Julian feel like shit, maybe even hit him. It backfired somewhat, even though there were a few players who were complete jackasses about him being gay, there were a few who didn't care. Mattie being one of them because as soon as he looked at Julian he knew, he knew he was the one.
You see, Mattie has been struggling with being gay. He's hidden it well and the only person to ever know how he truly feels is his ex girlfriend who he confided in.
Anyway, Julian has had a pretty shit life and this book really tore me apart. His own flesh and blood sent him to his grandfathers knowing he would be beaten and raped. It's how his father managed to control him for so long, he threatened to send Julian's cousin who is barely a teenager to him. He didn't want that, so he listened to his father.

The sex scenes in the book, the seduction, OH MY GOD, it was off the charts HOT!!!!! No book has ever been this hot and I swear, Mattie and Julian could turn the straightest of men gay with this book. They make everything so erotic, it's sexy as hell.

Overall, because I don't want to give anything away, the book is seriously brilliant and so worth the read. Lila Rose always does this for me, but this book is something else all together. It's different from the other books and to see both Mattie and Julian in different lights was amazing. It really made me think about other couples in their situation and if they've gone through the same thing. I know there are still people out there against gay relationships, but for me, you love who you love and one day I pray that people will get over it and see past two men or two women together and see the love they share for each other. This book is a great example. Mattie's parents, straight off the bat, and the word I'm gay, were so supportive of him. They didn't make a big deal, or get mad, they said okay you like cock, bla bla, and that was it, they just made sure he knew they loved him no matter what. It was so emotional I had to try and stop myself from balling like a baby.

The ending to the story is what really through me the loop. I'm not sure whether I got what was happening right or not, so I will ask Lila when I next speak to her, but let me tell you, either way, it's one hell of an ending for their book. I seriously couldn't stop the tears from falling I was that happy for them.

5* and if I could, I'd give her more than 5 because this book deserves so much praise. It was really good start to finish.

Stand off (Predators MC book Two) By Jamie Begley

One mistake can change your life forever.
Casey had spent most of her life watching the Predators control Queen City, never believing they could be brought to justice. She was the one who always passed unnoticed as Max’s stepsister. They underestimated what she was capable of until it was almost too late. When the Predators discovered they were her prey, there was hell to pay, and Casey was going to have to pay her dues with her soul.

One mistake can fuck up your life forever.
Max trusted his stepsister, not believing for a second she would betray the Predators. She used her body to get what she wanted, and now Max would use the same wiles on her to trap Casey in her own web of deceit. The Predators demanded revenge, and Max was going to see they got what they wanted, even if the price was his soul.

This was one standoff neither was going to win

This is the second book in the predators MC and it didn't disappoint. I was a little unsure at first because of the blurb. I mean, they were step-brother and sister, how could this end any good without being classed as incest. But I was so wrong. They aren't even related. They are only brother and sister through marriage which made me relax LOL.

Casey has a secret, one she wants to protect and one she will fight and give her life for. She proves that when she goes up against the Predators. She sleeps with Max to distract him, to get close enough to get information to close the club down.
I got confused on a few parts, first one where was where she had sex, was that her first time? She hinted it was, that Max wasn't just her first kiss, but then when they were having sex it was never mentioned. Surely she would have felt pain when they had sex for the first time? Especially when he has piercing through his dooh darh.

The story continues when the Predators find out what she's up to and want revenge. Only, they play her at her own game and use Max to do it. He grows close to her, but is it all for show?
Gah, I really liked the two together, and although I was reading it from the outside I didn't like they were going to pass her around the club. They would really do that to a young girl? But then the ending happened and I got so confused on my feelings for the club. I love it when clubs are good, like they do bad stuff but when it comes to loyalty, respect to women, they are good.

The story gripped me from start to finish and I loved it.

Another 5* for Jamie Begley.

Desolation (Jokers Wrath MC #4) By Bella Jewel

Pippa.

The girl you all know as damaged. Quiet. Broken.

She doesn’t fit in. Nothing in her world feels right. She’s trapped in a spiral of darkness that seems to be consuming her day by day, until she sees nothing but an empty, black hole.

Her world is a broken place she can’t escape.

She has people around her who matter. Who love her. But it’s not enough. Not enough to break her out of the bitter despair she lives in.

Until Tyke.

He knows pain. He knows darkness. He’s sweet. He’s kind. But most of all…

He understands her.

Combining their demons doesn’t seem like the best plan. Everyone is against them. He deserves better. She deserves better. They’ll never work. They’re too broken. Too damaged. It’s a destructive combination that will only end in heartbreak.

He’s a biker. She’s a broken angel.

But in their desolation, they will find peace.

With each other.

I received Desolation as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Bloody hell, I feel like I've waited so long to get my eyes on this book.
Desolation is the fourth and final book into the Jokers Wrath series which is really depressing as I THOUGHT everyone was getting a book. But wait!! Hold that thought, certain characters are getting a book, but it will be another series or standalone.

Back to the story.
Pippa, we meet Pippa when Santana and the Jokers Wrath MC go find her where she's been kept as a slave for years, been starved and treated poorly. Santana never knew where he sister was taken and for Pippa, she never knew the reason as to why she was sold. Or if her sister was alive.

In this book Pippa is still struggling to come to terms with everyday life. Even down to ordering food, or using a phone she finds it hard to do. Which is understandable after being kidnapped for most of her childhood. Before that she was living on the streets, before that she was been beaten and worse by her foster parent. She really hadn't had the best upbringing or luck in life. Her spirit just seemed to have broken or died. There just seemed to be no fight in her. After years of fighting to stay alive it just seemed weird she would feel the way she did about being free. I mean, wasn't that what she was fighting for?
I love Pippa's character though, I have from the beginning and when I found out Tyke and her were getting their own book I jumped for joy.

Tyke in this novel seemed to change a lot through out. One minute he's the biker I know him to be, the caring, kind, hard, rugged, kind man, but then at times he seemed too much, especially for someone like Pippa.
Like their first time together, it didn't seem something she deserved, or the way the Tyke I come to read would give it to her. He didn't seem understanding at times.

Anyway, the book is brilliant, we got to see Tyke bring out the best in Pippa, bring the life into her again and for Pippa to make a friend.
The two form a bond from the very beginning, but in this novel they become so much more than friends. At times I thought Tyke only saw her as a broken angel, but then he sings this song and it completely changed my mind.

Two new characters are brought into the book, one we don't know a lot about or why he is there, but still, I can't wait to know if he's got a story coming because I liked him.
Then there is Rainer, who I freaking adored from the get go. He's another slave that was there with Pippa, he was attached to her from the minute he was brought in and he didn't seem to like her. But then they are faced with cleaning up a murder that their capture done and the two bonded when Rainer held Pippa from breaking down. After all, the rules were if one steps out of line, the two attached both die. I loved him.
I read the ending of the book where we get a glimpse into Rainer's book and I have to say, I'm excited as hell to read his. Loved him.

The ending to this book near about killed me. I have never cried so much in my life. I literally balled my eyes out over it it killed me that much. I don't want to ruin it or even hint about what it is, but I will say it affects EVERYONE. It really killed me.

5 top amazing, well earned *

Until July By Aurora Rose Reynolds

Wes Silver wasn’t looking for love, but when July Mayson literally knocks him on his ass during their first encounter, his world is turned upside down by the quirky blonde, and every moment with her makes him more determined to protect her.

July Mayson doesn’t understand the pull she feels toward the bad boy biker Wes Silver, but she knows being with him is like nothing she’s ever felt before. Now all she has to do is tell her overprotective father, Asher Mayson, that she’s found her boom.

Gah, I didn't think I'd get to read more from this series but then Aurora has proven me wrong.
I loved all the first books in the series and although you can read each one as a standalone, I suggest to read them all because you get that sense of family, you feel it and with each book it only get's stronger.

July is the daughter of November and Asher Mayson. She's come a long way in life, owns a house, and an animal hospital.
The beginning had me giggling and smiling like a teenager. I loved what she did because it's something I'd totally do. You see, she's on her bike and speeding down the road when bikers come up behind her. She's enjoying the ride, totally in her element, and not particularly bothered by the bikers, although she does get a good look, intrigued by them. So when she stares too long at the one biker she nearly runs over a bird with a broken wing. She swerves to miss the bird only to nearly knock into one of the other bikers.
Anyway, the bikers think she's a bloke and when they chase her down she panics, but when she finally does stop it's all worth it. There's manhandling, sassy attitude, momma attitude where she tells one mean ass biker off, and then tazers. Even with all that she still goes back for the bird.

LOVED IT!!!

The story progresses when Wes, the hot biker, moves into town and walks into her vets looking for a dog. Only, he ends up leaving with two. July has been having dogs dumped on her animal hospital doorstep, most already past helping, so when she takes matters into her own hands that's when things start to heat up.

ONE thing I had to put a downer on is the ending. None of it felt finished. NO!!! IT wasn't finished. I don't want to explain without ruining the story. So I'm not. All I can say is the person causing her trouble doesn't get caught, and he's still out there. So when the dogs are rescued, she goes home and boom, the next page is an epilogue. It didn't feel final like the other books in the series.
Did anyone else have this problem? Or am I just been picky? Although to me, it felt like a big issue lol It felt rushed at the end. It's why I rated the novel 4* If that ended differently, no doubt I'd be giving it a 10* rating LOL

Still, even with that, make sure you read this one. I did really enjoy it even if I was disappointed in the ending.

Fat Louise (Biker Bitches #2) By Jamie Begley

She needed a hero; instead, she got Cade.

Cade was no hero. He was a nomad, a wanderer with no ties and he liked it that way. Hired out to save Fat Louise and her spoiled sister from a cartel run Mexican city was a risk he was willing to take, for the right price. With a certain gray eyed woman on his mind, he set's out to find her, fuck her and forget her. No harm, no foul. But it's all easier said than done when it comes to this plain Jane.

He expected a biker bitch who knew the rules; instead, he got Fat Louise.

Fat Louise wasn’t about to put her crew in danger. She had to learn to handle problems on her own, even if they included a six-foot biker she was forced to rely on, if she was going to rescue her sister. She never expected to see Cade again after she'd left Mexico, but all it takes is one night with him to prove that even a bitch’s heart can be broken.

I always pictured Fat Louise as a small, fat, stubby woman, but she's far from that woman it had me confused. She can eat and eat and eat and yet she's so incredibly fit I want to know where she put it all. I loved her character and her personality, but I didn't like how others walked all over her. She did everything for everyone and I hated they all took advantage of that, so it wasn't a surprise when she walks into the lions den to help get her spiteful, evil step sister back. My god, thinking of the woman is making me angry LOL I seriously disliked her.

So, as you can see she went to save her sister, only for her dad to hire someone to save her too. Only, when Cade, the hired help, asks her dad if he could only save one, who was it to be, the dad chooses his other daughter and not Fat Louise and I wanted to cry for her.

When they go in, her step sister is a spiteful, manipulative, greedy, self centered, immature, whore and a pain in the ass. Why Fat Louise never busted her ass is anyone's guess. I wanted to kill her myself lol.

After everything, they get pull it off and months or weeks later they return home, but everything's changed. Louise's step sister took the one man she could fall for and it broke her heart so she was never the same. Until Cade returns.

Let's just say, Cade returning wasn't a walk in the park. The journey of the two isn't easy, or loving, it's heartbreaking, gut-wrenching and overwhelming.

So glad I took a chance on this series. LOVED it.

Sex Piston (Biker Bitches #1) By Jamie Begeley

Sex Piston wasn’t about to apologize to anyone for her bitch attitude and certainly not the President of The Blue Horsemen, Stud. If he thinks he’s going to be able to control her and her crew then he has another thing coming. A lapse in judgment has him thinking that he’s won this battle of the sexes but a one-night stand isn’t about to bring this woman to heel. Stud has to prove himself as the new President of the Destructors, and Sex Piston and her crew’s attitude isn’t helping. If he has to sacrifice his body to tame the bitch then that’s exactly what he’s going to do even if it means losing his heart in the battle.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to read and review this novel. Being a huge fan of the Last riders series, I wasn't keen on Sex piston, so I never really thought about reading her story. That was, until I read Shades book, not long released and wanted to read it.

Her character is so far from what we see in the other novels with her in. She's actually really caring and there's a reason she is the way she is. It also made me look at diamond differently after reading this story and how selfish she was for being ashamed of Sex piston in a way.

And we also find out how Sex piston got her name and why she kept it. The story behind it broke my heart.

I loved how Stud kept her on her toes and was completely surprised to find Sex Piston wasn't as worldly as she made people believe, which is another thing I loved about her. That and I loved how close she got to Stud's daughters.

Shade (The Last Riders #6) By Jamie Begley

Want, need, pain, and joy were emotions Shade had never known existed before Lily. He knew the first time he saw her face that she was going to change his life forever. The thing he hadn’t expected was how hard it would be to hide who and what he was from her. Each step he took out of the shadows revealed more of himself, until only one secret remained. Shade arrogantly believed he could help heal the wounds from her past, but now it was his own past that was trying to tear them apart. To keep Lily, Shade would have to use the very skills he had been trying to hide from her. The skills that made him a killer … a soulless monster.

First off, I wasn't sure if I'd get into this book as I presumed from what other reviews said it was going over what had already happened. But.... with Shade and Lilly being my favourite character I decided to read it anyway.

And holy hell am I glad I did.
Shade is so much more than rehashing over the last books. It has you seeing things the other books missed. We see all the manipulating Shade really did to get Lilly and how he manipulated her. In a good way of course.

I loved the book and although it's really long and did take me nearly four days to complete, I loved every minute of it.

scenes like Lily's birth, and the dealing with Evie's evil twin sister is all in here. It's why this book NEEDS to be read. It's one that shouldn't be missed.
I honestly couldn't believe how it all ended and believe me when I tell you I want to read more from these characters :(

The only character I don't like barr Evie's sister is Bliss. For some reason she gets on my nerves. I don't class any of the girls in the book sluts apart from her for some reason. The others do it simply for sex, to have fun, and do something they enjoy and not be judged, but Bliss, she was a slut. She would have gone with Razer knowing he had a wife and kids on the way, she kept trying to go with Shade behind Lilly's back and then when she has a show down with Lilly it really got my back up.
It was the night Razor used her to get Beth to forget about him. In the first book when she's released from hospital and goes straight to the club house to find Razor all over Bliss that did it for me. I disliked her during the other books but reading Shade is like reading behind the scenes. She not only went back up to the room with Razor but she was willing to carry it further knowing it was really just a way to get shot of Beth and keep her safe.
The same when she tried to talk Shade out of being with Lilly. It really got to me. As you can tell by my ranting LOL

However, it was the ending that did it for me. I don't want to ruin it, but I got more than I bargained for. Just whatever you do, MAKE sure you read the epilogue. I cried so hard. It was so romantic, so sweet, and something I'd totally want in my life. I'm getting choked up thinking about how they met, about their journey and about Lilly's to where they got to in the end for them to be together. Ahhhhhh, Jamie Begley really did well writing this book. For some reason i have a feeling this is the last book :( But I'm sure I read somewhere that bliss dies. I don't think that can be right as she's there in the epilogue.
I also wanted Lucky with Willa, Train with Killyama (Sorry about spelling) and Rider with someone. I honestly want more ....

Anywhooooo, 5* from me. Jamie did a fantastic job going over each book, never wavering from the story line. It must have took some time for her to complete this book and I have to give her huge credit for it, because she did it brilliantly.

well done.

What did you guys think?

Angels MC: Guardian Angel (Angels Halo MC #3) By Terri Anne Browning

Things in Creswell Springs have been quiet lately. Or so it appears.

Appearances can be deceiving.

The night I met Gracie Morgan was the night that my life changed forever. I saved her that night, but it feels like she’s been the one saving me ever since.
--Hawk
Hawk didn’t just save me that night. He took me home with him and his family made me one of their own. I felt safe with them and quickly began to fall for the man that was my Guardian Angel.
--Gracie

The events of that night have not faded from anyone’s memory. The Angel’s Halo MC delivered their own vengeance against the guys that had hurt Gracie, and the ones that just stood by and did nothing. But they didn’t realize they were dealing with a sociopath like Kevin Samson. Now no one was safe…

I can't believe I didn't know this was released. A book as good as this is usually plastered all over Facebook or other blogs, but I didn't see this until it came up on Amazon. I was extremely annoyed I didn't see it, so I could read it sooner.
I've been waiting for this novel to be released for what feels like forever.
And I wasn't disappointed.

I've been waiting for Gracie and Hawk's from the very first time we meet them. He's so cute with her.
I have to admit this book has a lot more going on and I found myself enjoying it more. I also didn't get confused on who was talking as it was labelled this time. which made it easier to follow.

I love how more secrets are coming out, more twists and more books. I really enjoy reading about this group of characters and can't wait for the next one. Hopefully next time I'm not out of the loop on the release day LOL

Best Angel's Halo book so far....

No way out (Hawks MC #4) By Lila Rose

Link coming soon

Trapped in a marriage since the age of twenty-one, Malinda May is finally free. Having lost her biker husband, she is determined to keep her two teenage children as far away from the MC lifestyle as possible, a lifestyle which has brought her nothing but heartache and fear.

Life is never that simple.

Relentless in their mission to prove to Malinda that not all bikers are bad, the Hawks’ women are determined to support Malinda and her family, whether she wants it or not. In her struggle to keep her distance, Malinda soon battles her desire to keep her family safe or relent and begin to trust the MC.

Tired of women and their mind games, Declan Stoke knows women are only good for keeping his bed warm for a night. Having once thought he’d found the one, he’s no longer willing to put his heart on the line. Even when faced with the temptation of a wounded, sexy woman, he steers clear…well, tries to.

Malinda and Stoke find themselves at an impasse, one seemingly impossible to navigate through. With trouble brewing, life is going to get complicated, and for Malinda, she’s trapped with no way out.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
It's books like this I feel privileged to read because they could be bought without reading reviews in advance. They are that good.

I literally started this and didn't want to put it down. As it always is Julian is my favourite character.

Julian gasped. Wow, oh wow. Hell mouth I think we just found your granny.''
To know just how funny this one liner is you'll need to buy the book. Trust me, Lila's work just gets better and better each time. It's funnier, sexier and more action to keep you on your toes.

Malinda is trapped in a loveless marriage and although some may ask why she stayed and put up with it, I can see why. She loves her kids and wanted... no thought she was giving them a family they deserved. What she didn't know was their father was hurting them just as much.
When he dies she meets the Hawks MC, and doesn't warm up to them until she meets Julian, who brings her into the fold (pussy brigade) and soften her up towards the bikers.
They never had any clue of what they're brother was into behind they're backs, or that he even had a wife and kids, so when they meet Malinda, they are kind of blindsided.

After Matty gives Malinda his number the day they invite her to the MC cook out, so they can show her bikers aren't all the same, he's surprised to get a call informing him she's in danger.
Income stoke....
After being burnt already he isn't ready for another relationship. That is until he meets Malinda and all bets are off.

He not only becomes apart of her life, but a part of her kids too, and forms strong bonds with them. I really enjoyed the book. It always had something going on which I loved. It made it impossible to put down.
I think Stoke can be added to my top ten of book boyfriends, because something about a man taking on someone elses kids as his own is hot!!!

Can't wait for the next one Lila has in-store for us. She's such a talented and amazing writer it's hard not to fall in love with her characters.

I honestly rate her work high up with Kristen Ashley because no one can beat them in writing. Okay.... Maybe Bella Jewel..... or Jamie Begley. No one can write MC novels like those bunch of talented authors.
5 amazing, well worth it *****

Finding out #2.5 Hawks MC by Lila Rose

In a moment of weakness, Ivy Morrison tells a lie, a lie which will leave her scrambling for a solution and quick. The perfect solution comes well-packaged in the form of broody and sinfully sexy Fox Kilpatrick, courtesy of Find Your Soul Mate online dating service. Desperate times is most definitely a call for desperate measures. With no other choice, Ivy convinces passionate yet possessive Fox to help her in her time of need.

Fox 'Killer' Kilpatrick is still caught up in his past, a past of anger and death, which his biker brothers desperately want him to recover from. Losing a bet, Killer finds himself on a blind date with Ivy, the woman who is set to turn his world upside down.

Following your heart is never easy, neither is following an unknown path, but finding out may just be worth the journey to possibility. Only together, will Ivy and Killer discover if it was worth the risk after all.

Gah, holy hell.
I am going to try to take my time writing this review so I don't misspell anything LOL, oh who am I kidding? I'm going to rant until I probably spell my own name wrong.

Firstly, I just want to point out that I HATE novella's. I never feel they're enough in a novella to be classed as a story or for someone to really write a review. I never get a grasp.
Finding out had me doing a one 80. I couldn't put the bloody thing down. It was perfect. It hadn't been rushed, or cramped into it, it was written out beautifully. It honestly felt like I had read a full novel with what had happened in it. Nothing felt rushed, over done, or I felt like I was missing something. I didn't want it to end, but then I got so much from such a short book. It says on Amazon it's only 77 pages, but I can honestly tell you it felt like more to me. I really got to experience it like I had read a full novel.

I loved Ivy....
Loved her attitude, her friendships and the way she acts around hot people, especially Fox. She's a real character and so glad Lila brought her into the series, we needed someone like her in it.
She makes friends with hell mouth, wild cat and Jullian really quickly which is just perfect, anyone who doesn't get on with them then you know nothing is going to work out lol.
When I read her meeting up for online dating, I honestly said out loud 'that's a disaster waiting to happen' knowing about a lot of creepers out there. But when she meets Fox, gets all tongue tied and shit, I loved it. I was like 'awe'.
Now Fox, he went on the date because of losing a bet, which now meeting Ivy he's thankful for. I honestly loved them together.
I also loved how protective he was when they go to her cousins wedding. He defends her in front of them all. It was so sweet.

Also, like ALL Lila Rose books, it has some hot sex scenes in. Trust me, there's one in this that will blow your panties off. So hot.

Another well earned 5* for Lila.

Black out Hawks MC #3 By Lila Rose

At twenty-four, Clarinda James has lived a traumatic life. One of the last images she saw before losing her sight was that of her parents' death. The nightmares of that time still haunt her every night.

Taken in at nineteen by her sister, Clary didn’t know there was going to be a price to pay, a price far greater than her blindness. It’s not until Blue walks into her life, she realizes it’s possible to experience the joy of warmth. In her darkness, Blue will become her beacon, her guide. Little does she know that she’ll need to count on Blue more than she thought she would.

She has to…if she wants to stay alive.

Blue Skies is on the lookout for a woman. Always there to support his brothers, Talon and Griz, he’s not a stranger to the craziness of love or life. Nor is he a stranger to making it clear that comments surrounding his name are out of bounds. Despite the often effed-up situations his brothers find themselves in as a result of their women, he’s more than happy to settle down when he finds his missing piece.

After three weeks of seeing a gorgeous redhead in a café, he refuses to let the opportunity pass him by. Building a tentative relationship with Clary is no easy task; she’s damaged. It’s not until he discovers the truth behind her darkness that he willingly lays claim to her. He is determined to protect her, no matter the cost. She is irrefutably his.

Oh My God.....
Where do I start??????
Holy freaking Hell...... Lila out did herself with this one, I freaking loved it and couldn't put the book down. No one could have pried my kindle from my fingers last night when I read this. As tired I was, I didn't go to sleep until i finished. The book has me wanting to read it again it was that good.
I loved it.

Clary, is so beautiful. She's partially blind. She can only see a shadow if the room is bright the outline of their body. She fell for blue before she even saw him, which to me is beautiful. I loved it.
The book is funny,,,,, I mean come on.... Julian is in it LOL
He calls Griz BOO BOO. I read it and nearly fell off my bed I was laughing that hard and I got worse at another certain seen involving a penis.... you'll know once you've read it ;)

There are also some emotional parts in there too, again I'm not ruining the book for you, but I swear it's good. She lives with her sister after a tragic accident leaves her blind. Her sister is a raging bitch mixed up in bad shit, only Cary doesn't know. Not being able to see she's dependent on her sister. I really felt for her. I just wanted to reach in and help because she didn't deserve what was happening.

I wish I could say more because the book honestly deserves it.
The only trouble i had was the ending to Cary's situation..... I felt like it should have been more, I don't know. The actual ending though was perfect. We also meet another character, Jason... Blue's brother, he's so freaking adorable... loved him. Plus he made me LOL which is always a plus....

5* but I wish I could give it more. Well done Lila

One Love (Gypsy Brothers #7) By Lilli St Germain

Will Julz complete her mission for vengeance against the Gypsy Brothers? Or is Dornan still one step ahead?

More shocking secrets will come to light and lives will be lost in this final, devastating instalment of the Gypsy Brothers series.

The final installment of the Gypsy brothers. I have read this novel every release day, and the cliffhangers just kept getting better.
It's not the end of the gypsy brothers, as Cartel is out soon, but it's the end to Jules and Dornan.
I will admit, I was completely took off guard by the ending and so disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting a happy ever after, but I was expecting something more. Something than what it was. After all she had been through, I wanted something given to her, some answers, I don't know!!!

Anyway, I understood when I read the authors note at the end of the book, SO MAKE SURE YOU READ IT..... That will explain why the ending is the way it is, which had me relaxing. I understood the book weren't about Jules and Jace but about Jules and Dornan.

I did feel the book was cramped into such a short book, so it's a shame it wasn't separated into two parts. It was still good, very detailed. Also the part leading up to the ending was epic, I loved it. I don't think Lilli could have written that any better.

Angels In Leather By Bella Jewel

Love is never beautiful.

It's dirty, and raw, and broken. That's what makes it perfect. It's two broken pieces forming together to make something whole, something worth fighting for.

Axel Wraithe is my other piece. He's the biker who's been hunting me for a year, yet he's the one who can so easily break me.

He wants what I have, and I want what he's got to give. Only he's fighting against himself, not willing to give it.

He's got monsters in his heart, changing who he is, changing what he believes in. I'm the only one who can help him, and I won't stop until I've got the truth.

I want to fix what's broken, but I can't do that without him.

So I'll fight for my gorgeous, broken biker. I'll fight until our pieces fit back together.

Angel's in leather is the one book that had me having nightmares. I've read disturbing books, more so than this one, but there was something about it that really made my stomach twist and turn. I don't know whether it's because of the forced sexual acts or what, but it really played on my mind. Bella Jewel really knows how to get you to feel what is actually happening in the book.
It isn't even the darkest read I've ever read, or the sickest. Which is why I found it weird this one played on my mind.
I didn't really show much of an MC, even though Axel was in an MC. It was mostly about situations around it and all to do with what she had on him.

I was surprised about certain surprises that came up, and yet again Bella Jewel throws us a curve ball making our assumptions of the book totally wrong. I honestly thought I had it all planned out right again, but then she threw us completely off towards the end with something no one could have guessed happening.

To give you a snippet of what the book is about without giving too much away, I will tell you it's about two people who kind of grew up together. When Axel leaves suddenly she doesn't know why, she just knows he changed into someone she didn't recognize.
He comes back years later to save her, then he kills her father. Then she goes on the run with a memory stick with information her father wants her to keep safe.

Like all her other books I can't tell you what goes on like what most people do in their reviews. It's a book you'll either love or hate. I have loved all her books so far and not one of her work has being predictable, original, or poorly written.
I've rated it 4*
